We were made to feel really welcome and the room was super, with a comfy four poster bed and large separate bathroom. The room was really clean with lovely decor. We loved the small bar area downstairs with a roaring fire. Also had a three course dinner in the restaurant Saturday night. Food was more than a cut above normal pub fayre (think smaller, beautifully presented portions and very high quality ingredients)- for example I had guineau fowl. All the food was delicious, as was the cooked breakfast the next morning. To cap it off, we were offered walking maps and walked to Chipping Camden and Dover's Hill direct from the Hotel - with the offer of being picked up if we got lost!

As I'm the organiser, there's always a slight concern as to how the place will work out (we go a different area and venue each year). I needn't have worried - the whole experience was impeccable - from checking in, to the evening meal and breakfast the following day. The rooms were lovely, beautifully fitted out and very comfortable, and the staff were all great. Great value for money as well.
