The bathroom is beautiful and very big as well. the room also has a kettle and coffee maker and yes they also offer good quality capsules and teas. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the breakfast is good and they offer a good range of food options. the main breakfast room with the old feeling and medieval music is fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. it’s Eger best kept secret without a doubt.

The staff is very helpful and nice and friendly. Especially Virag at the reception and Akos in the restaurant. I highly recommend the place for everyone who wants to relax in a beautiful quiet place.

Offering on-site swimming pools, hot tub and saunas, Imola Hotel Platán is situated in the centre of Eger. It features a restaurant serving regional dégustation menus and a garden with terrace. The staff at the hotel is very caring and helpful. Everyone is working to make your stay as comfortable as they can (and I do mean everyone, from the receptionists, waitresses, the sommelier, the cooks in the kitchen). And they do it in a heartfelt, sincere, kind way. The wellness had everything we needed (sauna, jacuzzi, hot and cold water pools, solar beach room, hay therapy and salt room). Location is top-notch as the Eger spa is within walking distance and one can simply walk from the hotel directly to the spa. We really enjoyed breakfast (fresh bakery products and a good selection of options) and dinner (modern, well thought-out meals, very tasty I'd even say gourmet :) ). At last but not least, I'd give a shout to the wonderful musician who plays during dinner time, we liked it very much :).

We booked this hotel as part of our road trip in Hungary and were very happy with our choice. The communication with the hotel was great and smooth. I asked them to prepare a bottle of wine as a birthday gift and they did great with that including adding a note. Both breakfast and dinner were great, the wellness area was also great and there were many other activities at the hotel which made our stay more fun. The room was spacious and the location was also nice, very close to the natural park. Overall it was a great stay.

Really well equipped for kids, the Africa theme is really nice, loved the Meerkats in the hotel. Great outdoor animals and play areas....huge labyrinth was a lot of fun. My five used the spa twice and really liked it. Pool bar food is really good. Staff were friendly and remembered my room number.

The location was amazing for a getaway from the city life, this is the perfect spot. Great hiking trails all around the location. The food was amazing, but it's probably a good idea to tell them in advance if you have food allergies. Both the breakfast and dinner had multiple, very delicious options. The staff was amazingly helpful and kind, they assisted us with everything and even helped figure out a way to pay the extra we did not anticipate. (dinner :) ) The rooms were very warm (winter) we could even dry our clothes/boots after a daily hike. They were also very cozy.
