Simple room, but big enough, good quality mattress, good quality bathroom, and very quiet, with the sound of the river if you open the window. Restaurant very good, excellent slowly cook lamb shank. Nice staff. Location in the hearth of Cong, which is absolutely adorable place, great little village, great walking areas around, etc.

The Ballina Manor Hotel is centrally located in the heart of town whilst perched on the banks of the world famous River Moy and overlooking St Muredach's Cathedral. Breakfast was included and was delicious, lots of options and staff were very accommodating. River view rooms are gorgeous. Hotel was very clean and quiet even though we were right in the middle of the town. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants, etc. Restaurant on site at the hotel has great food. 5 star service. Will definitely be back.

With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. The facilities were amazing. Restaurant was super good. The gym and pool were of a very high standard. Our room was excellent. It was my husband's birthday and they had a special dessert plate sent up to the room. The grounds are awesome too. Lots of walks to appreciate nature
