The privately run and owned Heights Hotel Killarney overlooks the Flesk Valley and Torc and Mangerton mountains and is 1 mile from Killarney Train Station. Good breakfast. Very good dinner (twice). The stormy weather stayed outside.

Tea and scones are offered on arrival at Gorman’s Country Home, set within 5 acres of beautiful gardens and 5 km from Killarney town. Breakfast was great! I had the pancakes with warm syrup. Would recommend.
