We liked everything about this hotel, especially Dadda the charming owner. For three days we felt like we were at home. Also there are horses, and Dadda let us get in their area and feed them.

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir. perfect stay !!!! the shower had a door broken but it was all. access to the sauna & hot tub for 1000isk only. breakfast included in the price worth every penny you’ll spend here. thabk you for being so kind, you are lovely

Situated in south-eastern Iceland, in the coastal town of Höfn, this hotel offers local cuisine and modern en-suite rooms with a flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Enjoyed our stay. Amazing staff (especially Tereza on Reception, and the restaurant staff). Standard of food in restaurant was excellent. Would stay again / recommend to others.

The amazing location of Hotel Skaftafell provides guests with stunning views of Iceland's highest mountain, Hvannadalshnjukur and the largest glacier in Europe, Vatnajökull. Wonderful place! The restaurant, while a bit expensive, served us wonderful food, perfect after a day of exploring. On top of that, 15 min walk behind the hotel allows you to see two glaciers and wonderful views. The best part was definitely chatting with Pedro, an exceptional receptionist and a great guy!

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. The property itself is fantastic. It’s a well oiled machine that keeps churning travellers day in and out. If you want to be around vatna Jökull, this is a great place.

Berjaya Hérað Hotel is situated in Egilsstadir, 5 km from Lagarfljot River. It offers a terrace bar and 24-hour room service. All rooms have Wi-Fi, satellite TV and wooden floors. outstanding! the bedroom was perfectly clean and comfortable. the amenities (particularly those from L’Occitane) were incredible and great cost benefit. totally recommend!
