The hotel was really nice and cozy. We are in love with big window pane. Good place to relax and talk. Also the receptionist was friendly and nice.

The people at the hotel are helpful and polite. We had a room on the fourth floor with a lower ceiling on one side and very small skylights, and we were a little afraid that the room with a low ceiling and little light would be too small. At least that's the impression we got from the photos, but in real life it wasn't a problem at all and the room was super nice with comfortable beds and a big bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with many tasty options. Parking in front of the hotel was free. And the hotel is right on the river bank, so it was good to go jogging to the beach and back in the morning.

These people have really gone above and beyond with the restoration of this building. It was very interesting reading about the history of this property and seeing pictures of what it used to be. It's very unique - the floors are absolutely askew since they kept the original structure of the house, and they adapted the furniture to it as well. Lovely furnishing choices in my opinion and an incredibly cosy atmosphere. Breakfast was great - be sure to mention it though if you are a vegetarian, since it is not a buffet, but they serve you the whole thing! The location was also great, in a characteristic street full of cafés and shops for hand crafted stuff, a 3 minute walk from the bridge over the Venta river.
