Our room was big with a fridge, table and chairs and a very comfortable bed. Amazing rooftop with communal space and hot tub. It also had a swimming pool on the ground floor but wouldn't get the sun much. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the main shops and restaurants which meant it was more peaceful and quiet around the hotel.

Staff is super helpful. Pools and jacuzzies /they are total 3, one down and 2 at rooftop. Pool has kids sections and one for adults. The plants around the pool are simply beautiful. I came from Sayulita. You gotta take taxi from there to San Francisco/ San Pancho. There is taxi stop few blocks toward center from Vallarta Plus bus station.

Located just across the road from the main bus stop, and just a short 10 minute walk to the main, buzzy square, and also a short walk to the beach, Ximena hotel is like a calm oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of Sayulita. The building is spotlessly clean, and rooms are very spacious. We had an issue in our room when we first arrived where one of the sinks was leaking. But we reported it and were immediately given another room instead, without any trouble. The shower is huge and very good, lovely toiletries provided too, which smelled gorgeous. There is lots of space for luggage in the room, and a nice fan plus AC to keep cool. We had a small balcony with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. A bottle of purified water is provided in the room, and there is a cold water dispenser in the main corridor which can be used to refill bottles, which was so handy. The rooftop pool was the highlight for us. So peaceful and relaxing to lounge up there away from the crowds, and enjoy the heated pool.

Pool is not big, but you can swim in it. Pool chairs were comfortable. Area has all the restaurants right outside. Beach is few blocks away at walking distance. Staff was very nice and helped me to get taxi to Puerto Vallarta.
