Hotel Villa Trompenberg is a fully self-service hotel situated in a park-like area in Hilversum, 1.5 km from the centre. Villa Trompenberg offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The hotel is beautifully sited in a lovely garden, with very nice public areas inside and out in garden. The staff, especially Nadine, and last day, Rihanna were attentive and so helpful with every aspect of our stay. We loved being close to Amsterdam but not staying in that hectic, hot city, swarming w tourists!

Vesting Hotel Naarden offers accommodation in Naarden. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, as well as an iPod docking station are available. Directly opposite the Grotesque Kerk in the centre of Vesting. An innovative hotel, the room was small, but the efficient use of space with the raised bed nook made the available space roomy with two comfortable chairs and bench space with all the usual amenities. The bathroom was spacious, the shower recess large, and the shower was excellent. Automatic lights and room entry by mobile phone. Dinner and Breakfast were excellent and all staff friendly, helpful and well trained.

Offering an à la carte restaurant, Boutique Hotel Bellevue is located in Blaricum at 10 km from Hilversum. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with a TV and a seating area. Excellent location with free and safe parking. Breakfast was really lovely. Staff kind and very helpful.

Hotel Kastanjehof is a small cosy hotel, situated in the middle of the beautiful forest of Lage Vuursche. The area surrounding Kastanjehof is perfect for walking, cycling and riding. The hospitality, the attention to details, the service - this is one of the best places I ever stayed at. I highly recommend it, and will most definitely come back.

Featuring recently renovated rooms, Amrâth Hotel Lapershoek Arenapark is located in a park-like setting on the outskirts of Hilversum, in the heart of The Netherlands. It seems to be an old building, but beautifully renovated and with modern rooms. It's very close to a train station (Hilversum Sportpark), though not the central station (which` is 20 mins walk, well to do without a suitcase). I particularly liked the late checkout option for 25 euro extra. That was not a problem at all, and it's nice to have a shower before a long flight. From Hilversum Central station many trains go to Schiphol Airport. Near Hilversum Central, there are some nice places to go out, and if you like to bring cheese home, then go to the market on Wednesdays or Saturdays. There is an excellent choice coming straight from the farms.
