And the bartender, whose name we did not catch but she recently returned from studying at Cambridge, was a delightful conversationalist and lovely.

Located in Westerhaar-Vriezenveensewijk, 49 km from Theater De Spiegel, De Johanneshoeve provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Lovely location, very family friendly. We stayed at the 3-bedroom apartment, it was perfect for our family of 7. The place was clean and there were lots of games available. The garden had lots of places to sit and our children really enjoyed all the outdoor toys. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect.

Hotel location is fabulous if you have to visit Twente University. Building looks new and nice. Floor to ceiling windows provide you an excellent view and what is specifically very good - you can still open the windows Bed is very comfortable. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. You have enough room for clothes and all other things. There is also plenty of space to work and internet connection is very good.
