Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn is located next to motorway A7 and offers accommodations with free WiFi. Alkmaar is 24 km away. It's a 4-star hotel, but it's actually 5-star luxury. It's part of a larger complex that includes a casino, a restaurant, and probably other facilities that I didn't visit. The room is super clean, quite spacious, and very quiet with a great view on a wide green area. The bathroom was very nice, with a shower and a bath tub. My baby enjoyed her private swimming pool immensely! The location is just off the highway so it's very easy to reach. I also took the car for a 6m drive to a Halal restaurant, so the city is just a few minutes of driving. The Wi-Fi was open, no password needed. This is really convenient. The breakfast was superb. Very spacious restaurant and enough variety to satisfy all tastes. It's also available till 10:30, which is unusual (usually till 9:30 or 10:00 in most hotels I've been to). All in all, I'm definitely coming back in case I come back to Hoorn.

Located 39 km from Rembrandt House, Heavens Hotel offers 4-star accommodation in Hoorn and features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. What a unique stay, wow. I really am amazed by this church turned into a hotel and done in such an elegant way. Room was really clean, the view indoors to the church walls and windows - epic. Restaurant was of high quality and tied in perfectly with the rest of the place. Would certainly recommend staying there!
