Bridget and her family have been wonderful hosts, also providing delicious breakfast and even dinner on request. Even some toys for our kids :) Very friendly atmosphere where you can meet other travelers and share meals all together. If you like more personal experiences than hotels, don't hesitate. The house is big, the rooms are cozy and the location is conveniently close to Voss and Bergen. Thank you very much, we'll do it again if we come back to Norway!

Lovely location near Voss and a good stop for a road trip around Norway. The hotel had a unique architecture and featured a classy Scandinavian decor. All the rooms had a lake view and was very calm and tranquil. The dinner menu was innovative and showcased the flavors of Norway (loved the fried scallops and pork cheeks with beetroot) and the breakfast was very fresh (we ate so much of the herring in tomato sauce :)

Beautiful views from this quiet, clean and well equipped little cabin in the ski area above Voss. It is someone’s holiday home, which may not suit if you are looking for more of an impersonal “serviced apartment” type experience but was a good stopover for us for a night on our travels toward Bergen.

The hotel is located in the center of Voss city (not to far from gondola entrance). Nice view at the lake. Typical old hotel room. Good bathroom. Parking available. Ofcourse if you get luckey to get a spot:) In general it met my expectations. Good enough for weeknd trip.

The location is great, pretty close to the main road from Flam to Voss. The views are absolutely stunning!!!. The (family room) is spacious and very nice (looking better than at Internet pictures...).The dinner was good.

good location right in the town of Voss, east to walk to the places in the center. also right along the waterfront, east access to train station. the breakfast buffet was quite nice and extensive with choices.

The location is the best in VOSS. Train station, Gondola, Fjord cruise bus start point all at walking distance Hotel is strategic ans scnic location. Car park in from of room Kitchen very convienient

Can't beat the view from the window. The location in the middle of the Voss region fitted our plans like a glove. The cabins look like brand new . Facilities are pretty clean.

It was nice and quiet apartment hotel. Staff was very friendly. It is located between Flam and Voss, so we managed to visit both of them without changing hotel.

Top location and easy to get there by bus (from Voss) . Modern and very clean hotel. Cozy atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast. Delicious pizza.

The beds which are very comfy and the lightning in the room. Breakfast is very good also. Voss is a nice and quite town close to Bergen.

We really had a great time staying at Voss Moutain Lodge specifically due to the hospitality of the staff and the owner. Gabriela, the manager, was knowledgeable and always enthusiastic to provide necessary information to all the guests. She was all the time running around with lots of smiles. Thomas, the owner, is a super cool guy who looks like he came out of an adventure/wild magazine. He is a genuinely experienced hiker so do ask him if you have any questions at all. You would see him blend in with all his staff working hand in hand around the hotel. We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and we found both breakfast and dinner way much better than we'd expected. The quality and the attention given to the meal preparation are overwhelmingly satisfied. We highly recommend this place to all nature explorers. One last important note, it is highly recommended that you do backpacking if you're arriving by train. The path from the Ørneberget train stasjon (resembling an abandoned bus stop ^ ^!) down to the lodge is quite steep and could be quite challenging for anyone.
