Set in a 16th century fortress overlooking Horta Bay and Pico island, this Pousada hotel features a swimming pool and regional restaurant. Most of the air-conditioned rooms have views of the marina. Breakfast was wonderful, with an abundance of choices offered. My knees were sore after some hikes and the staff was able to provide ice for me. We also were easily able communicate with the staff.

Everything (and more) what is needed for a pleasant stay. There was some chocolate, fruits, water, wine and two beers for us. Not far to walk to shops and restaurants.

Amazing place that keeps the highest standard of everything - starting from the communication and, finally, the accomodation place itself. It is super clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. There are two nice balconies, parking place, good Wi-Fi connection. We enjoyed a very well equipped kitchen with a possibility to prepare meals and washing machine after hiking. Highly recommend and would be great to come back one day!

Good location very close to the harbor and 10-15 minutes by car to the airport. You can walk around Horta. Nice staff. Although the breakfast is not included they offer coffee for free. Big rooms with a lot of space, garden, living room and kitchen to share.

Nereida features free WiFi throughout the property and views of sea in Horta. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.4 km from Praia de Porto Pim. It was an amazing place with a great view and the hotel was clean and nice to stay upto 4 beds but we were only 3 ppl and it was equipped with everything we needed like for the kitchen, we had oven, microwave oven, stove, cups, plates dining area, etc. More than expected. Nice shower area as well. Really loved the whole vibe around me. The açores islands are amazing and worth a visit.

The property has a terrace that provides an excellent view of Mt. Pico. The best sandy beach on Faial, Almoxarife, is nearby. The apartments are well-equipped and perfectly clean. Having access to the extensive garden and outdoor grill is a huge bonus. I absolutely recommend Quinta do Torcaz and definitely hope to come back again soon.

We will stay in Dabneys apartment every time we visit Faial from now on. The apartment and facilities were exceptional and everything we could have ever asked to have a wonderful family vacation. The place is design in a very efficient and clean way which makes the stay with a child really easy. Very close to everything you need from the port, restaurants and bank. The old pictures on the wall of Horta and Faial are a nice touch. It is in easy walking distance from Porto Pim (beach), much less convenient from the ferry.

Beautiful property, stylish, and wonderful garden... a real paradise! Even though it is nearby the airport, it is not a problem at all, as there is so little traffic. Swimming pool, pool table, and all the other equipments are great. Temperature and shape and having it for oursleves was super fun. The house is very big and has everything we needed. We felt at home. People were really nice to us. A great place to be in Faial.
