Featuring air conditioning, Vila Barca is set in Madalena, within a 10-minute walk from the centre. Free private parking and free WiFi are available. Very welcoming staff and they we able to accommodate our needs very well. Place was very clean and we had everything we needed. We are definitely staying at Vila Barca again next time in Pico!

We had a nice and comfortable room with a little basket of fruits for your welcome. The room had a nice balcony with a view to the harbour and Faial. In a minute you can reach the harbour and the city centre. There is a cleaning service everyday (if you need it). The breakfast buffet is really big and has a lot of offerings (they even had soy milk and milk without lactose; lots of bread, ham, cheese, cereals with different seeds, lots of fruits, many cakes, eggs, beans and so on...). The staff is very polite. We are not used to big hotels and normally stay at smaller/simpler places so we missed nothing at all.

Loving Strangers Hostel có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, sân hiên và quầy bar ở Madalena. Chỗ nghỉ này cung cấp karaoke và bếp chung. The hostel is very spacious, clean and well equipped. I felt very comfortable the days I stayed there. The nice atmosphere makes it easy to get in touch with people. Stefan's and Pedro's attention was magnificent, very kind and helpful. Clean and cosy with a fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom available. Easy to get here even with the local bus and there's parking available as well. Excellent place for starting a hike. I definitely recommend to stay here.
