Breakfast was pretty good. Location was right in between all of the attractions we visited there for. Ice castles , skiing, site seeing.

The rooms were fabulous, large, dual aspect, large comfy beds, beautifully decorated with lovely supportive staff who made our stay feel all the more special (we were definite fans of our pre-bed time tea and cookies being left in our room after dinner, such a lovely touch). Our room featured a large spa bath in a large bathroom that was spotless with gorgeous views over the White Mountains - there's something very romantic about a sunset whilst having dinner with your partner on the dining terrace. The restaurant food was probably the best of our entire stay in New England, special thanks to the chef - we had an amazing stay and would love to come back! The hotel is in bear country with frequent sightings so you might be lucky enough to see one up-close and nearby!
