Hotel has great location, right at the beach, everything is spotless clean and they keep the covid protocol very strict, we feel very comfortable there. The food was exceptional, especially the desserts were very delicious. We loved the breakfast in the roof garden restaurant with the magical sea view. The hotel has many beautiful swimming pools. The staff was very professional and always kind and helpful, especially the barman Panagiotis was always very nice and made the best cocktails!!! The animation team is also doing great job, Nellie was very friendly, we liked her very much!!! We wish we could stay longer than one week, but we’ll definetely come back next year!!! Thank you Porto Platanias for great holiday😘

Kalimera! The hotel is perfect for calm vacationing. The beach is big and spacious, without a lot of sun beds or people, the view from the beach is amazing, especially at sunset. There are a lot of comfort sun beds around the place, you can take it whenever you want and chill out in the shadows. The bar serves different drinks, snacks, pizza, fruits. There is mini market where you can buy everything without going into town. Chania is reachable by bus, which goes every 15min until night. Lidl is also across the road. The personnel is amazing, everyone is trying to help, they speak perfectly English and German. When eating in the hotel, there is a variety of choices, including some kretan local food. We were never hungry after meals:) The room was good, although the ceiling was not so soundproof, you can hear everyone doing their stuff above you. We had some problems with air condition, but stuff helped us on the same day. At the reception you can get any information about car renting, excursions etc. and they will definitely help you with your reservations. If there will be another journey to Crete, we are definitely going to choose this hotel again! Efharisto!

Amazing breakfast with many choices. Staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms were great. We had a ground floor room and since we had a baby with the stroller the access to the room was so easy and comfortable. The pool was very clean and the beach was right in front of the hotel.

Everything was great. The food, the location, the facilities ... it is a great resort for families. Kids never get bored there with so many attractions. The staff îs very friendly and helpful all the time. We will definetly come back

First of all our room was upgraded. It’s connected to the beach so you can choose the pool or the sea. The breakfast area is lovely next to the pool or the roof terrace which over looks the beach, it’s a nice way to start off the day. It’s just off the Main Street but is so quiet. The staff can’t do enough for you. The rooms are cleaned every day - which you can also opt out of. There’s two different pools on each side of the complex. Plenty of sun beds. Little shop on site. My girlfriend had a cake delivered to our room on her birthday which made her day (thank you)! It was just what we needed!

If you have a family, it's a great place for you. The beach was RIGHT there! Clean, safe and beautiful. The sea was stunning, you could see the seabed through the water. Lots of activities for kids, day and evening. The food was also very good, breakfast and all. About 35-40 minutes to Chania by bus. You can also rent a car to travel to other parts of the island.
