Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. What a beautiful setting. Immaculately clean with all amenities required for a great stay. Rhonda was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights but loved it so much we asked to stay for an extra night. We had to move rooms but it was well worth it for the even better view across the bay. I couldn't rate it highly enough .

Opposite a family friendly beach, Shelly Bay Resort provides 4-star fully self-contained apartments, with views of Hervey Bay from every apartment. We had a big room and everything was clean; the balcony was also very big and we had a nice view to the sea; the location is nice, you can reach a lot of restaurants in a few minutes; the staff was very friendly too

The Ocean-view room was great and also gives a good view of a parts of the Hinterland. The room and bathroom is nice, bright and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. Room temperature can be controlled well via the touch panel. It was nice to swim in the long pool and dip into the sea-water pool down to 4 meters where we could spot some fish.

The view to die for. We wanted to be relaxed and lazy and we were. Beautiful little township. Well priced we thought. Very secure. The villas are amazing.
