The food was amazing, quality and quantity. It seemed like the longer we stayed, the more we were treated. The private onsen rooms were fabulous, too. We went several times each day!

We were extremely fortunate to stay in the Choseiden cottage. The very generous layout and views over the garden towards the faraway mountains, the scrolls, the paintings, the wooden furniture of this once tea house, not too forget the private bath (“Onsen”) with its glass panel onto the forest were exquisite. The staff were most helpful and kind. Very warm thoughts go to Reina who brought us our meals and guided us through the intricacies of the local cuisine, while answering with a joyful warmth our relentless barrage of questions about Japanese culture and herself. A stay which will linger!

El Shodoshima International Hotel está muy bien situado a solo 3 minutos a pie del famoso lugar turístico de Angel Road y cuenta con una piscina exterior de temporada y baños termales naturales. The location of the property is excellent. Close to the pier and next to the Angel Road. The dinner and breakfast is very good with a fair price. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Toramaru Ryokan está en Kotohira, a 42 km de Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. The location and the staff are wonderful. It’s a bicycle friendly ryokan: no problem to store our bikes inside by the reception.

Kikuya Ryokan ofrece habitaciones en Tonosho, cerca de Saiko-ji Temple y de Catholic Shodoshima Church. Great value for money, located right by the port, with great access to the rest of the island. The host was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to help, despite the langugage barrier (which with a little google translate, really isn't so much a barrier nowadays anyway). Also, I received a free room upgrade! Who can complain!
