The room was very clean and charming. It has almost everything I needed for the long weekend stay. Thank you also for the nice easter chocolate which I found at my door as a surprise :-)

GiseLa the matriarch, artist , owner , and creator of not just a house, but a home away from home situated in a very green suburban neighborhood easily accessed by the nearby tram. This period in Cologne was very busy with congress' , festivals, conventions , and tourists. There were very few reasonably priced places to stay. Gisela's place was just a few more euros than some overpriced dormitory hostel beds. I felt very blessed to have such a huge, comfy, 3rd floor apartment all to myself, and the freedom to have wonderful conversations downstairs with Gisela in her garden studio area. Like the detail in her beaded pointilism art, Gisela provides a well attended stay complete with many towels, cleaning supplies, dishes, glasses, cutlery , tea and tea set, hand sanitizer, hot water kettle, and even a little library. The bathroom is also well supplied, clean, with a wonderful shower stall ... hot , strong, water . and fancy soap ! The tram station is a pleasant tree-llined stroll from the front door; it was so interesting to be in old cologne and within minutes , return by tram to this calm quiet green harbor of a neighborhood. and the best part: Hostess Gisele !

Located in a lovely residential area with plenty of resteraunts and shops within walking distance. A short walk to the tram stop also an enjoyable walk into the city center along the river. We felt very safe day and night walking round. The apartment itself is fabulous- very quirky, very comfortable and spacious. We did a mix of cooking and take away. It has everything u need and the owners are very accommodating. It was the perfect spot to stay 👌 we broought a travel cot for the baby, there was a very xomfortable bed in thr bedroom and a sofa bed option too :)

The flat has everything one could need, very clean and cosy. I only slept there, however the kitchen was well equipped, with stove and fridge. Great location, close to where I needed to go and many restaurants.

As others have mentioned, yes, the shower and loo are outside the apartment but it’s not a big deal as they’re right next to it. Even if there’s a class, you don’t have to go through the yoga studio itself or something. With your door closed, you also won’t hear anything from the studio during sessions. I was driving there by car what was rather convenient and quickly on high speed road. Apartment includes free parking place right behind the building. Flat is clear and includes everything you need (except dishwasher). Perfect for one maximum two person.OlenaYoung couple
