This is a really nice, quality remodel, well finished with an artful touch. We both just liked the place. The street is surprisingly quiet and there are lots of restaurants and bars not too far away. In this former working class neighborhood of the silk workers, you now see a lot of families with young children.

Location sometimes looks near from the center, sometimes far... Idk... if you have a car, it will be near, by 10-20 mins of driving... If you are a Johny Walker, you will walk to the train, which is very near, around 100m... maybe and less.. 50m... very near, easy calm walk... and there you have and food market too... then around 3 stations to the last station.. then you should get some bus or metro to the center... by walking, maybe 20 mins of walking to the center... with bus.. maybe 10... with metro.. 5,6 mins probably... but center is wide and city is small... so everything is pretty near... you have scooters, e-bikes everywhere... and one nearest market at the corner... 20 meters... nice neighbourhood... nice apartment... small apartment, small room, but you will have everything what you need there... bed are comfy, pillows are great... so clean... idk.... I had a great time.. host was very kind and fair too... Thank you Ludovic

The apartment was beautifully decorated and appointed with every possible amenity to make our stay perfect! The host was welcoming and gave us great tips for our stay. The view from the windows to the Cathedral were amazing!! Parking nearby, washing machine, and nespresso machine were a bonus. Super quiet, slept like babies. Staying in such a historic home made our time in Lyon memorable.

This apartment was AMAZING. When I first saw the photos and read the reviews of this apartment, I thought it seemed too good to be true and a small part of me thought this might be a scam. But Anne and her daughter went above and beyond my expectations, this is genuinely a hidden gem in the middle of Vieux Lyon. We arrived very late the first night and Anne's daughter Emmy made sure we managed to get into the apartment safely (she was supposed to meet us at the apartment but we arrived very late so she left the key in a safe space). The apartment is so spacious and clean, a perfect spot to stay for the long weekend. As it was the fete de lumieres, the streets were packed and lively. We enjoyed being near all the festivities but at the same time having an easy place to return to if we were tired. On the day we were to check-out, Anne kindly allowed us to leave our luggage in the apartment so we could continue to enjoy the city before our flight. She was extremely kind and generous, I would happily stay here again!

This is a small apartment, perfect for a couple. It is very comfortable: perfect heating, comfortable and practical furniture, modern kitchen and bathroom with perfect shower,… And in addition you can park and lock your car for free in a box located in a parking building just across the street. The apartment is full of light even in cloudy days, and has fantastic views on the city of Lyon. The host is very kind and helpful. At our arrival we found everything one may need to prepare breakfast for the four days we spent there. I really recommend this place.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable, board games for the kids to play after a long day of walking the city was a bonus. Views from apartment are exceptional. Look no further than this spot! Stocked with breakfast supplies (markets close by if you want anything else) and kitchen had everything you’d need. From irons to steamers, blow dryer and flat irons. There’s a fan under the bed in a drawer. Everything is well thought out and supplied. Even a washer dryer should you need to do a small load (note it’ll take about 4 -5 hours to wash a dry a few items). Laundry right up the street too.

The apartment is gorgeous and very cleverly designed with a loft. The kitchen and washing machine allowed us to cook and clean as we needed, in a cosy, beautifully decorated environment. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The central location in Old Town was absolutely perfect - so many shops, restaurants and sites to discover! Our hosts also provided several great recommendations on restaurants in the area and it was so easy to get to other parts of the city, as the metro and bus line were extremely close. The apartment itself had everything you might need for a short stay - equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and comfortable furniture.JJacobYoung couple

Also well-located for Metro and buses, and a supermarket is 5 mins away. Nice to have coffee on the balcony overlooking central green area.
