Host went out of her way, very friendly staff, beautiful room, very clean. We had to leave at 5am for a flight, they even did a take away breakfast for us with juice, bars, croissants, fruit. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone - wish we could have stayed longer.

We arrived after a long day of travelling and immediately felt home. We got a room upgrade. Liz gave many recommendations of things to do in the area. There is an electric charging unit for an electric car.

Set in Ullapool, Harbour House has a garden. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. The private bathroom is fitted with a bath or shower. Quite, peaceful along the water,s edge. Nice prints in wc of Doe Castle & Dunlewy Church which we recognised.

Offering stunning views over Torrisdale Bay and the sea, Bettyhill Hotel is located in Bettyhill and features an a-la-carte restaurant, a bar, garden and terrace. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Wonderful place to stay. Very friendly and welcoming. Meals and rooms were exceptional. Great value Would stay again.

The family-run Coorie provides en suite rooms and looks out across the Firth of Forth. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi and is around 16 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. The breakfast was very filling and lived up to the rave around it. There is something for everyone with the variety of selections they have

In a tranquil setting on the banks Loch Awe, Taychreggan Hotel offers elegant accommodation and high-quality dining. Not quite sure why this is just a 3*** Hotel. It was simply amazing. The food was exceptionally good. If someone from Guide Michelin reads this, make sure you dine at Taychreggan :)

Just a few steps from Anstruther’s harbour and marina, with views over the Firth of Forth, The Waterfront offers 4-star bed and breakfast accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Everything and everyone was exceptional and all was very clean and lovely, the rooms where very nice and our floor was just our little group so that was nice too. The room was also very peacefull and very quiet. The bed was most comfy! The food in the restaurant (dinner and breakfast) where also super delicious and the restaurant staff delightful. Will come back asap! Thanks for a lovely stay!!!

Ideally situated on Stranraer seafront, overlooking Loch Ryan and just 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and train station, this family-run guest house offers free Wi-Fi, ample, free, off-street... Clean well appointed room, hosts were flexible when I was delayed, very friendly and breakfast was great!

Overlooking the famous Old Course in St Andrews centre, Rusacks St Andrews features valet parking is available and free WiFi throughout the property. The Rusacks is just fantastic. This was our second stay and as delightful and comfortable as last years. This time we had a smaller room in the older part which was just as nice as the larger one we had last time. But the best part is always the breakfast (the salmon and avocado on sourdough are awesome) and dinner at the rooftop restaurant which we always enjoy at least once during our stay. The staff is always friendly and so helpful and goes the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Also, this year we used the valet parking and our electric car was charged automatically by hotel staff - this is excellent service. We'll be coming back later this year and next year.
