The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of the old town. The building looks amazing, especially with the lights on at night, and the rooftop with its bar is perfect. I didn't get the chance to try the restaurant, but there was some live music on the terrasse on Saturday night. We had an ice cream listening to it, it was great ! The breakfast is really good and the room as beautiful as the rest of the hotel. Would definitely stay there again !

Amazing hotel, in a superb location, with lots of great restaurants and bars in a walking distance. The staff is super kind and attentive, the room is clean and comfortable, the rooftop bar and the swimming pool are just perfect, providing us with a great relaxation after a busy day touring the island. Would absolutely stay again, highly recommended!

Saccharum - Resort & Spa este un hotel luxos de 5 stele de design, situat pe plaja Calheta, între munţii Madeira şi Oceanul Atlantic. An amazing hotel with an extremely friendly staff that was ready to accommodate our needs or quick to fix any inconvenience. The staff additionally cleaned a little bit in the evening, made a bed and bring small chocolates. Super cute. The place was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. I loved the infinity pool and the views from the hotel. It was especially wonderful to fall asleep listening to the ocean. I like the spa facilities but can’t say that massage was exceptional for my taste. I hiked and walked a lot so expected some muscle release massage but it was just a very spa oriented procedure, didn’t really ease my muscle tension. Overall an incredible experience and I would love to come back.

View of the ocean was amazing. You could just sit in a balcony all day and enjoy the view or sleep with a window open..sound of the waves was very soothing. Having an arrival drink was a nice touch. Also free private access to sauna - meaning for a particular slot no need to share it with others. Also free access to natural pools outside!

Renovat recent, hotelul de 4 stele Baía Azul este situat ideal, la 4 minute de mers pe jos de plaja din Funchal. A nice and spacious room with a great view from the balcony! Massive breakfast too! Loved my stay here and would recommend to others! The staff were also friendly and accommodating!

Acest conac madeiran restaurat este situat la 900 de metri de centrul vechi al orașului Funchal. Proprietatea are o grădină botanică și terase cu vedere pitorească la mare, la oraș și la munți. We missed our connection flight and arrived to the hotel in the middle of the night. Despite the time, Nuno welcomed us with a smile and very patient explanations and made the start of our trip in Madeira very pleasant. Also the rest of the staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The hotel's garden is gorgeous and has a nice panoramic view of the sea and was the perfect place for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent with large variety. It is highly recommended.
