My room was facing the harbour and my timing was perfect as aI saw the cruise ship come and go. The hotel is very close to the town central so a very convenient location. Breakfast foods was freshly prepared. Throughout the hotel the staff were friendly and eager to please the guest. I particularly liked the extra touch of hats for the guest, the delivery of a fruit basket upon arrival and the hand deliver of an afternoon "cookie pack". I am a very satisfied customer!

The room is equipped with a coffee machine and 3 capsules per day. The location of the hotel is central. The breakfast is excellent and varied. In the evening you can sit in the lobby and listen to a different player play the piano, saxophone or guitar every day. For a hotel parking that costs 12 euros per day, they will let you park on a nearby street at a cost of half a euro per hour, this is better because most of the day you travel the island by car.

Situated in Ponta Delgada, 13 km from Pico do Carvao, Sky PDL features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. We were able to check in early and also after check out the host allowed us to store our bags and use the common areas. A good breakfast was served. The room we had was spacious with a nice balcony and good-sized bathroom with shower and clean towels. The bed is super comfy with nice sheets. Air-conditioning works well. Even though the building is located in the city centre right in front of the main street the widows are sound proof and we had a good nice sleep.

This 1-star hotel offers free WiFi. we came a bit earlier, but lady-owner met us very nice and recommended some places for visiting. that’s was very kind. also very important thing which were in our room is klima. that’s is very important for good sleeping in such hot area. cute lady next to kitchen always were interesting how we are and do we need something)

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. We had a phenomenal stay at Solar de St. André. We stayed for a week and were blown away by the standard of the accommodation and the fantastic hospitality. Eduarda and her team are brilliant and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We were always made to feel welcome and were even invited to a nearby concert, which was excellent. Marina deserves a special mention as she not only prepared fab breakfasts each morning, but gave us local advice, recommendations and just nice chit chat! Our room - the blue room - had everything we needed, super clean, well appointed and quiet. Comfortable bed. The hotel is like a museum, everything is charming and quaint but also modern and well-finished. Breakfast selection was always great, local produce and coffee always on hand . We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place.
