Did not have breakfast, room was nice and little touches like ice in the corridor. Bottled water in the room and scales in the bathroom. We were very pleased some staff were nice some were rude just nodding head when you asked them a question. At one point we were totally ignored by reception staff as he went over to help Colleague with another customer and totally ignored us. We went over to the other table and asked the question and were able to go on our way after 10 minutes of being ignored.

The rooms are spacious, clean and relatively up to date. You have everything you need for coffee and tea as well as towels. No robes, slippers, conditioner or toothpaste (!) So worth to pack. The plug socket options are both 2 pin and 3 pins. Useful! The breakfast is pretty good. Very busy from 09:30 so arrive early if you dont like to queue. There’s options for cooked and continental. WiFi isn’t the greatest but is available. Main menu is good. Treacle tart excellent. I had a beef for the main which was well seasoned and very good mash to go with it. I mentioned in my booking it was a birthday celebration and was given a little box of chocolates and a handwritten card which was a lovely touch! Shower is decent, curtains blackout and quiet where we stayed in the 2nd floor. Reception team kind. Bar and restaurant team attentive enough. We had a nice stay and we would definitely return!

Ground Floor Room with disabled access Bathroom had cracked and stained Floor Tiles. I informed Reception Staff and asked for Maintenance Staff. The Maintenance Manager checked my Room and offered me a different decent Room.
