Comfortable bed, clean and walking distance to pubs and restaurants!
Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

Staff and service exceptional. Attention to detail and care for all clients shown by the team throughout our stay. All the little extras were so thoughtful. Nothing seems an issue here.

We love the vintage theme. The house has all the things we needed. The house was cleaned, the honour is really nice and gives a lot of tips about the place to visit and she is always ready to help

I traveled around Ireland for two weeks and stayed in several cities. Kenmare was one of my favorites for shopping, access to music, scenery and the BEST lodging and restaurant at Brooklane. Highly recommend both!

We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Kenmare was a lovely town and the alternative B & B we found was friendly and welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast. We stayed at Davitts for the second two nights and ate there and it was great.
Everything about this stay was perfect.
Bernadette and her husband were extremely welcoming and gave us a lot of information and tips about getting around Ireland and Kenmare.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable! It’s full of little details that make all the difference. It is also only a quick walk into the town centre.
Our hosts were very accommodating of our dietary requirements and went above and beyond to provide a delicious vegan breakfast which was served in a beautiful conservatory.
We both loved this stay!
Staff were lovely, very accommodating and friendly. Food was very nice too! Our breakfast was included, nice yoghurt & fruit, cereals, croissants, scones, etc. and a good hot breakfast selection on the menu :) Nice area as it’s lovely and quiet, just over 5 mins walk into the town, but there is a Centra right across the road from the hotel anyway which was very handy! In general I thought the people of Kenmare were very nice, any shop we went into we felt very welcome so there was a very good vibe around the place.
Everything! From the beautiful decor of the hotel, the comfortable and spacious bedroom, to the fabulous dinner that evening. Every staff member was friendly and helpful from the moment I made my booking - accommodating my error when I accidentally booked the wrong date!! Kenmare is a wonderful place to stay and although there are plenty of great places to dine in town, I am so glad that we returned and had dinner in our hotel as it was exceptional! Thank you!
The location was superb.
Less than a five minute walk from the town centre.
The Creamy Cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean, fresh towels.
We parked our car safely at the side of the house.
Kenmare itself is a lovely little town, consisting of two main streets with plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes
Overall, myself, my wife and our two sons had a very satisfying short break.
We had a wonderful experience at Druid Cottage. The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom is on the small side, but it worked well enough for us. The location is quiet at night despite it being next to the main road in and out of Kenmare. Our host recommended a few dining and drinking places to check out in town that turned out to be perfect. We had a wonderful cooked breakfast the next morning and chatted with the host before heading on our way.
Wonderful staff and the unit was very clean and spacious. Really spoiled us for future sites. Although my kids are teenagers now, this would have been a wonderful option for younger kids, toddlers, or a baby. Nicely put together and very quiet. Although not in the heart of Kenmare, it's a very short 3 minute drive. Felt like you rented an entire 2 story condo. Wonderful Guinness pour in the bar. Very nice.
Margaret is an exceptional host, who really made us feel welcome. She gave us excellent advice on interesting places to visit and dine. The highlight of our stay was a truly magnificent breakfast, with bowls of freshly made porridge and delicious fresh fruit. Her homemade brown bread and cake were truly delicious. This breakfast matches anything you would get in a 4 or 5 star hotel! Top class Margaret!
The setting was beautiful with views of the mountains from our bedroom window and the breakfast room. Our hosts were superb, friendly, and eager to please. Everything was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and quiet with ample parking; and we were very close to downtown Kenmare. Breakfast was plentiful, varied, cooked to order, and beautifully presented. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Absolutely everything! Trish was so welcoming! The room was sparkling clean, so comfortable, beautifully decorated and just a short walk into town. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Pancakes were stellar! Best shower in Ireland! I took all of Trish’s recommendations and they were all fabulous. I’d love to stay again the next time I have the pleasure of being in Kenmare.
Breakfast was hot, choices were given plus a cold buffet. Rooms very clean, good space, beds very comfy. A short walk to central Kenmare through a delightful path across the street. Restaurant, bar on premise. Staff attentive and very friendly. We came back a second time on our 3 weeks in Ireland. Would return and recommend to all.
We absolutely loved our stay with Patricia! Beautiful house with newly renovated rooms and very comfortable beds. Patricia was such a wonderful welcoming host. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Just a short, easy walk out of the town centre. And kenmare itself is a beautiful little town.
Great value! What a gem. I, like a bonehead, had left my passport and money at the hotel. Mary, the owner, aka the queen of Kenmare, went out of her way to make sure she tracked me down and got me back my passport and money! Unbelievable! Great experience, great stay and great people.
Exceptional stay. Irma is a friendly & very accommodating host.
Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Breakfast was A1: nice choose, great quality with fresh & home made produce.
7 min walk to Kenmare town centre. A real gem, will stay again!!
The room had a great view of the river. It was a short distance drive from downtown Kenmare. We got there earlier than expected and were allowed to check in. The Hostess was very accommodating. Great Breakfast.
The staff were all absolutely lovely. We loved the bathroom decor - felt very luxe. The pathway into Kenmare town centre was great - wish every town had something similar. Can't beat the views either.
Location was amazing, only 2 min drive into Kenmare Town.
Breakfast was unreal, so much to choose from and freshly made and delicious
Honestly BEST B&B I've ever stayed in, better than some hotels
great location - so convenient for walking to town and enjoying everything Kenmare has to offer. Beautiful house with comfortable beds. Super clean and spacious. Appreciated having easy parking.
Spacious accommodations. Perfect location to explore Kenmare. Everything is working walking distance. They have a live band in the evenings. Good food at restaurant. Friendly staff.
