We enjoyed the location - it was in fact not near the airport but in a suburb with local facilities including friendly restaurants - and a Lidl supermarket!. If planning on taking the local bus to the centre of venice (hotel sells bus tickets) , note that it can be very very full by the time it arrives at the bus stop round the corner from the hotel - we barely were able to get on- because it can be loaded up with travellers from the airport. Coming back is less of a problem.

Breafast was very good and offered different choices each day. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is smaller like a countryhouse and felt a home during the trip.

The hotel was good ,
The hotel was good ,
The only downsize was u can only buy a bus ticket single trip from The hotel and I must pay with cash while u can pay with card The hotel itself.
Then we had to wait till 16.00 o clock to buy bustickets at The local tobacco store.
Becoz u cant buy a ticket in The bus to venice, I found a little bit sufficiënt and old fashion in a modern world today …….but hé I got to see venice and that was sooooooo great for an old man like me :)

Campalto is situated near Venice, close to Marco Polo Airport (5km). For people who prefer a cheaper stay in a good hotel when visiting Venice may choose this option in the area around.
Venice hotels are quite expensive.
In Campalto you will find supermarkets like Lidl with a larger and cheaper choice than the smaller supermarkets in Venice center.

I don't even know the name of the person who welcomed my family. That madam's beautiful smile keeps coming to mind. I think I will keep thinking of the breakfast that she prepared deliciously with all her sincerity.

Campalto is a little a little run down with lots of empty shops and not a great deal to do. However, there are many little cafés/bars that are open very long hours. Plenty of places to eat and drink at a fairly reasonable price. Very close to the airport and Venice city both just a short bus ride away, but beware as buses are fairly pricey and 1 price whether you want to travel 1 stop or from one end of the line to the other.
It would be interesting to compare Campalto now to pre covid as I wonder if lack of business, during covid, has caused a lot of the shops to close. Even the large Marco Polo hotel is closed at present
The hotel is located 10 mins away from the airport and it's a very good option for a last day in Venice, which was my case. There are 2 bus stops within 3 mins walk and from there you have direct transport to the airport, Venice and the train station. Staff were friendly and allowed us to check in one hour earlier. Also, they provided me with iron and ironing board. Not only that, but they practically saved me 10 euro by explaining me that I can enter Venice for free by being their guest. I wasn't aware of that rule.
lovely little spot!!! Located very close to the airport and right across the road from the bus stop into Venice. We had dinner there the night we arrived and it was the BEST place to experience our first true Italian dinner!!! Delicious pizzas, eggplant parmigiana, tiramisu and plenty of fresh bread on the house. Could not have asked for a better stay for our first night in Italy.
Breakfast was lovely. Fried eggs, cold cuts, cheese, bread, pastries, fruit, juice and great cappucino. Room was well arranged to sleep 4 people with shelving on one wall for everyone to put their belongings. Small table to sit at, nice bathroom. Gated parking and the bus to center of Venice picks up nearly at the hotel.
Convenient location to an early flight from Venice Marco Polo Airport. Food right in the corner, calm silent room.
Hassan is very helpful and did an upgrade to my room free of charge. He helped with the taxi reservation.
The hotel is good enough to have some rest prior to an early flight and take a shower.
We loved our stay at Hotel Antica Fenice. The hotel is beautiful and very clean with a garden full of flowers and very close to the bus station to go to Venice. The host and staff were so nice and wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and fully stocked! Truly, was a gem and I would stay here again!
The location is convenient for taking buses to Venice, from airport to hotel, going to Mestre, to train stations in Mestre and Venice, near some excellent restaurants, staff is very friendly and helpful. If you travel with a group of friends or family, this hotel is a good choice.
-Convenient location to get to Venice by bus (No. 5). There is a bus stop a few dozen meters from the hotel. Tickets (1.5 euro one way/person) can be purchased at the newsstand across the street.
-There is a parking lot in the courtyard where you can park your car for free.
The hotel was extremely clean and the receptionist was very polite and helpful. The bus line that takes you to Venice is in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for the price it offers, the cleanliness and of course the staff.
Thank you Blue Colors Hotel!
This Hotel is perfect for visiting Venice, very close to a bus stop and 10 minutes or so to Venice.
The hotel itself is so comfortable with fantastic breakfasts, good wifi and plenty of free parking. I definitely recommend staying here.
We loved the hostess , the location and the house . Everything was nice and clean . The only down side was the squeaky bed.
The breakfast wasn't bad . Bus stop taking you to Venice is right in front of the hotel
Nice place with a free parking. Perfect to stay 2-3 nights if you are about to discover Venice and places around Venice. Across the street there is a little shop and pizzeria and next to hotel little bar.
The apartment is spacious enough for us. The host provided coffee and some bread in the kitchen. He answered all my questions. We took bus to Venice and it took about 30 mins. Free parking is available.
Swimmingpool, great to have bus to Venice right in front of camping and to have a supermarket only 100m away. Our 'mobile home' was great - good airco, clean, good shower and room layout worked well.
the location, hotel hygiene and it smelled Devine from the entrance… the hotel staff were of great help and very patient with all the questions we raised…the bus transport to Venice was convenient.
Breakfast was very nice. Staff was helpful e.g. when Wifi did not work. Connection to Venice was perfect (15 min by bus and busstop right outside the hotel). Parking right infront of the hotel.
Clean and spacious room. Pleased the room was not carpeted. Bathroom clean and spacious. Good lighting.
Bus access to Venice 3 blocks away.
Nice outdoor seating area.
