The room was large and felt like a part of an old villa, full of charm. Lovely ceramics and art everywhere. It is a short of steep walk to the centre and also to the path down to the beach at Isola Bella. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is varied and fresh. There is no pool but also no kids!

We stayed at Villa Greta for one night and a very unfortunate accident happened - a motorbike drove into the open door of our parked car. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in handling the matter, mediating, translating and making sure the whole situation went as smooth as possible. Also, we had a fantastic view of the bay, Taormina and Catania from the balcony.
