Didn't have breakfast. Needed to get on the road. Restaurant closed for evening meal due to Holiday weekend but reception booked me in to nice pizza restaurant nearby. Hotel was stunning & went way beyond my expectations both in style & cleanliness. Will definitely be back.

The town has an interesting main street with a good range of small shops and historic buildings. The ice-cream café at the top end is excellent. Alongside the town is a pleasant park by the river which leads towards the spa area.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, even allowing us to check-in late at night. We booked four rooms and while three of the rooms were great, one had a heavy smoking smell, which was unpleasant. We were too tired to request a change of room at the time, but it's possible that we could have avoided the issue if we had asked earlier. In general, we found the value for the money to be great.

I highly enjoyed the peaceful mornings in the garden spent among grazing horses and three friendly dogs, Missy, D'Orazio, and Gas who were sure to keep me company. The owners, Emanuela and Emerigo, are incredibly friendly and made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. The garden and pool area looked very nice. It was relatively quiet however, and there were plenty of loungers etc available. The village of Castel San Pietro Terme is only a 20minute walk away, which offers a handful of nice cafes and restaurants.
