The Savoia is a beautiful property overlooking the Bay of Trieste. Staff and helpful and friendly. The rooms are a generous size, comfortable and extremely clean. The hotel is well positioned near Piazza Unità, restaurants and shopping and a ten minute walk to the station. We have been staying at this wonderful hotel for the last forty years and will continue to do so.

I liked the building especially the lobby and the bar. I would have liked to have been able to get light food in the restaurant during the day. At breakfast cold offerings were good, especially little croissants, but cooked offerings a little disappointing

Breakfast room was very pleasant. Tables were not crammed together. Staff were helpful. This room also double as a tea room were drinks could be made during the day.

We stayed at the hotel as a family with children. The hotel is in the city center, everything is close and can be done on foot. The rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast is also served, and it was good. We had secured parking in front of the hotel. There is also a public garage near the hotel where you can park for a decent price. I would recommend this hotel.

The location is exquisite , 200 meters from the Grande Canal and 6 minutes walk from the Railway Station. The tasty breakfast with hard boiled eggs and many choices was as a positive surprise.

I liked the location of the hotel and the assistance of the hotel staff, everything was clean inside. All other minor drawbacks did not play any role in comparison to my impressions from the journeys I had planned. Triest was the best option to see other greater cities in the vicinity.
