The staff were amazingly helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was given dinner when I arrived after a late flight.
They also booked taxis for us, working hard to get them even though it was mega busy.

The San Luca Palace was the perfect place for our stay in Lucca. The staff were amazing from the outset and really helpful. Our room was excellent with a well stocked minibar. Breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day.

It is a nice quite place on the hill. Typical agro tourism house of Toscana. If you like to go to sea, Viareggio is only a few km away. Pisa, Livorno, Lucca are near the place(20 min with car). The food is excellent. I recommend it for a pitstop on your tour of Toscana.

The room was nice and clean; the same goes for the bathroom. Nice lady at the reception. Convenient parking behind a gate. You also get a discount voucher for a restaurant at the nearby beach, which we used and it was really nice. I didn't expect much, and I only discovered it that day, so no planning or looking for an alternative, but it actually turned out to be really good.

We had a room with a queen bed which was ample for one or two nights
We unfortunately only stayed the one in what is a very beautiful Italian city
The property has a large fridge freezer, toaster, kettle etc in the two kitchens available for your use. Marina couldn’t have been more helpful explaining entry, exit , places to eat and city entry via the underpass
