5 stars for this hotel is a big shame. Couldnt avoid the smell of deepfried food, the constant noise of the toilet that didnt work well. It was horrible and above all a big middle finger to all the Masseria’s nearby with a 4 star rating. This hotel isnt worth 3 stars.
Cala Corvino is just 200 metres from the coast and its beautiful beaches. It features a swimming pool, tennis court, and air-conditioned rooms. It offers a gourmet restaurant and is set in its garden....

the staff was really nice and helpful,
we had a private apartment with kitchen, it was ok, good kitchen equipment and big fridge,
nice flowers on the balcony,
the region of puglia is very nice, close to nice cities if you have a car, from the resort you can make some nice hikes on the coast to the nearest cities - we recommend hike to Polignano al Mare with a designated trial on the coast (look for white-red marks)
can be good for families with kids and with a car;

Struttura, pulizia del villaggio, disponibilità del personale.
Monopoli is very walkable. Nice seafront walk and attractive streets and alleys in the old town. Pleasant piazzas and historic churches. Well restored and maintained. Much less expensive than other parts of Italy.

During our stay, we visited Bari, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare and Monopoli. Monopoli was the best of them! Not that many tourists as in Polignano or Alberobello, beautiful romantic narrow streets, clean and decorated with flowers, the prices in restaurants were very reasonable. I would definitely come back.

Monopoli is a cute seaside town.
Monopoli is a cute seaside town. It offers a lot with nearby beaches, many restaurants and drinking places. It also has great connections to other cities. If you do not plan to rent a car, then it makes so much sense to base in Monopoli and explore other cities via train or bus. That's what we did. It is not a nightlife place if that's what people are looking for but still there are many places to enjoy a drink or a cocktail.

We are happy that we avoided Bari and instead chose wonderful Monopoli as home base for day-trips across the region. While Monopoli and the cities in general are clean and tidy, there is one general issue for the region: Garbage. It's everywhere. Plastic, glass, you name it, is all littered along roadsides and even on the coastal pathways. The magnitude is staggering and it's such a shame.

I'm very glad I chose Monopoli over Polignano a Mare as a base for our trip in Puglia. Taste is, of course, subjective, but I think Monopoli is the nicest coastal town around Bari, it has a fairly big old town with a lot of quaint streets to explore, plenty of restaurants and even a good stretch of rocky, cliff-y coastline you can actually walk on, peppered with a few small beaches. I imagine it gets just as busy in summer but in April it was less crowded than Polignano and overall feels like there's more space. It's also very well connected, ~ 20 min from Ostuni, ~ 5 min from Polignano, ~1h10 from Lecce, ~30 min from Bari all on the main trainline we used everyday.

Monopoli is a town and municipality in Italy, in the...
Monopoli is a town and municipality in Italy, in the Metropolitan City of Bari and region of Apulia. The town is roughly 156 square kilometres (60 sq mi) in area and lies on the Adriatic Sea about 40 kilometres (25 miles) southeast of Bari. It has a population of 49,246 and is important mostly as an agricultural, industrial and tourist centre.
Located in the south-eastern corner of its province, near the borders with the one of Brindisi, and by the Adriatic Coast, Monopoli borders with the municipalities of Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Fasano (BR) and Polignano a Mare. The town is 15 km from Fasano, 33 from Martina Franca, 44 from Bari, 64 from Taranto and 75 from Brindisi.
Very clean 1st floor apartment. 10min walk from Monopoli sataion and 5 min walk into the old Town. Plenty of restaurants around the area and in the old town. 20min walk to a good beach but best to go early if you want a space on the sand. There is a QR code with all the info you require and a supermarket a block away. There were renovations underway below the apartment and we were woken early with jackhammers operating but after 2 days it was more quiet. I'm sure it's not long term. Great communication and easy to find.
This was the best of the four accommodations on our trip to Puglia. It was super comfortable and well equipped and there were many thoughtful touches. The old town is a short and easy walk through the town square and there are plenty of shops nearby. Our host Sabino was fabulous: very welcoming, very helpful with information and recommendations and also kind when there was a communication mistake by me at the end of our stay. We can't wait to stay again on our next visit to Monopoli!
The apartment is located 100 m from the Monopoli train station, from there you can easily travel to Polignano a Mare, Bari, Ostuni, Brindisi and Lecce. Everything was clean and very nicely decorated, beautiful, modern style.
But the best about this rental is not the flat..
The family who owns it is the most welcoming, most flexible and most generous we have ever come across! We have travelled a lot, but B.'s hospitability is unmatchable! We cannot thank her enough for her generosity!
We loved home Bibi for its authenticity in the heart of the old town of Monopoli not far from the sea, the best cafés and restaurants. It was quiet and friendly, the children played in the street and the old people sat on the porch in front of their door. It is a real feel good place. If you ever prefer to eat at home, the kitchen is definitely big enough and absolutely up to date. There is also a washer and dryer to clean your clothes if you need it. We were completely satisfied.
The B&B Don Gino was the best that we could get. The facility was extremely clean, quiet, located in excellent location with an easy access to the old city, city beach Porto Vechio and the restaurants. The facility offers you for free beach umbrella and is open for any request that you might have.
Nicla was a great host, so informative and high spirits.
Thank you Nicla for your hospitality and nice accommodation. 😊❤
The apartment is new, modern and very comfortable
Comfortable beds, fast Wifi
Parking easy in front of the property
Monopoli is a perfect location to visit some of the best part of Puglia (valle d'Itra, Bari etc) and itself a nice city.
Property manager very helpful and available
Location is out of the city center. So quiet, but you need to take to the car or to walk 1,6 KM.
Perfect location in Monopoli and Monopoli in fact is the best location in Puglia at all! Wonderful design of the rooms, the dining room, etc- the place has been decorated with the great taste and it seems to be completly new. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Very tasty breakfasts. Highly recommended- worth to coming back. Grazie mille!
Very functional apartment. Excellent location, vey close to Old Town, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Marina the host is the best, always willing to help, gave us very good recommendations, made reservations for us, she is always available for anything you may need. Will definitively stay there again.
The host was very sweet and helpful with everything. He was warm and made us feel very welcome. Everything went very smooth. The apartment is located 10 meters from the beach and has a beautiful terrace. The old city is a very nice area with good restaurants etc. I can highly recommend Monopoli!
amazing little apartment in the middle of Monopoli, furnishings were all well maintained and had everything you needed.
be aware that properties in Monopoli are a little bit challenging for tall people as most of the hotels etc are old town buildings with small doorways and spaces
Great location & service. Always got prompt professional answers and advices to all our questions. Felt in love with Monopoli old town and people! We spent here the best week of this summer. Close to everything u need: shops, beach, restaurants. Dont doubt, take it! 💙
Everything was perfect: the apartment is very cozy, sweet, clean. Very close to centre, old town. Loredana is very kind, helpful. She sent me information about the most popular POIs and the best restaurants. It was our perfect stay in Monopoli.
There is free parking.
Maria and Fillipo are extraordinary hosts. Their hospitality is everything you need to feel welcomed in Monopoli. The space is so inviting in a central location and the baked goods Maria makes for breakfast are so so delicious 🤤
A fantastic apartment right in the old town of Monopoli. 30 seconds walk from the sea & a wonderful terrace on the top of the apartment. The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay.
newly renovated with high end finishing in the bathrooms - incredible service from the staff. truly a 5 star experience at a very affordable rate. 10 mins from Monopoli center.
such a great property. the breakfast is really good, the staff (katarina and co) are also a great help. the best bit is the pool area which is so hard to come by in Monopoli
Central location and Monopoli city. In my opinion, the best city in the area to spend holidays (food, sand beach, large old town, central location in Puglia).
