Very nice property restored with an increadible eye for detail. The garden and pool are beautifully kept and very seductive to lounge in, weather permitting. The lake view from our room was stunning. A lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. There were wonderful views from our balcony overlooking Lago di Maggiore and the high mountains beyond. The food in the restaurant was first class as it was in the the Bistrot Imbarcado, which the hotel also runs, and where the seating is alongside the lake. A good ferry service from Porto Valtravaglia makes it easy to visit Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and market day in Luino. We will certainly be back!
