Amazing location - near train station but also 2 min walk away from lake and boat stop. Still less than 10 min walk to main village, means you have lovely walk along the promenade

We had an amazing time staying in Varenna Wonders. The villa was so spacious and had everything we needed there. Amazing views from this villa and Cinzia our host was amazing so helpful and always had a quick response back to me everytime. Our stay was fabulous and would highly recommend it to anyone that’s thinking of taking a trip to lovely Varenna.

Perledo was a fantastic place to stay.It is about 15minutes downhill from Verenna if you want to catch a ferry.The walk back up the hill you need to be fit it’s steep.Perledo has lovely local restaurants to go to and it’s all fresh produce which I loved.Great walks in Perledo and lots to explore and the view over the lake is amazing.You have to stay in Perledo there is so much to see.

Peeled/Varenna is indeed beautiful and worth seeing but it is exceptionally busy with tourists. Consequently the restaurants and shops are geared to cater for tourists and there is very little local flavour or culture to be found. Perledo is a beautiful place in the mountains over looking...
Perledo is a beautiful place in the mountains over looking the lakes. It is peaceful and a beautiful part of the world. I have travelled to many different places in my life and this is such an amazing place for nature clean air, everywhere you look there is beauty. You will need a car if you stay here and are not fit. The climb back up from Varenna is steep.

Perledo is ideally located for easy access to the ferry terminal. Here you can take a ferry to Menaggio as well as Bellagio and onwards. It's also a short walk away from Varenna which has a few more shops and restaurants. It's a quieter town and ideal for those who wish to stay away from the crowds and night life. It also offers some more affordable accommodation options compared to some of the more popular towns.

The best coffee was the cappuccino that Rita made for guests if requested. Our room was very clean. Mattresses comfortable. Though we did not have an evening meal there, we had wine one evening in the bar & the food being served looked delicious. There was a van that stopped near train station each night starting @ 9pm that was available to transport us to our hotel @ no cost.

The huge shower alone is larger than many hotel bathrooms. The bed is comfortable with nice linen. After an initial hiccup on arrival Cristina was superb at getting it resolved fast. The location is great, 5 mins walk from the station & 10mins to the ferry dock. There is less crowds so it's a bit quieter but still very close to the restaurants & shopping hub.

We had all the amenities necessary to cook meals. The location was nice for local hikes into Perledo and Vezio. One of the best parts of our stay was our host. Beth was very friendly, welcoming, and even drove us with our luggage upon arrival and departure which was so helpful! Thank you for a beautiful stay!!

The breakfast was excellent! The location had a superb view right next to the church looking down on Lake Como. The host contacted us prior to arrival when a landslide impacted train travel to suggest we come by car which ended up to be the best suggestion as Perledo is 3 miles up a steep and winding road from Varenna.

Self check-in was very convenient, our flight was delayed, so we didn't have to worry about being too late. Something to keep in mind is that it's located uphill, so climbing back up from Varenna can be a bit challenging, but the views are totally worth it.
