Location handy for the motorway. The Hotel matched the anticipated theme of Transylvania; Giorgio fitted the bill, he was kind, helpful and as the whole place, a little alternative, thank You Giorgio Toasted sandwiches made in the evening for guest that felt hungry and the price fair. If you are walking the Via degli Dei or looking for a peaceful place to stay close to nature, don't look any further. We (a couple in their early 30s) stayed at the Refugio for one night in a 4-bed dorm room. These were the first bunk beds in a long time, where you couldn't actually feel it all moving when the other person moved a finger! They were super comfortable too, and if you are not hauling your sleeping bag around, it is possible to ask for bedsheets as well. The bathrooms looked like they were recently renovated and were super clean. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and plentiful and provided the opportunity to connect with the other hikers. Wifi is available at the property but be prepared for spotty phone coverage (or maybe it was just our provider).
