The property is really nice and very authentic, all is well maintained, nice garden and big pool!!! Very good restaurant inside, really good food, but needs to be booked in advance, as it is very popular even for locals. Room Junior Suite in our case was two stories, with bedroom upstairs. Very spacious!! Stuff was really helpful. The only thing is location - you need to have car, for sure to get to anywhere. The roads are narrow and in mountains, driving, specially in the dark is not easy. Taormina was 29km, but driving time was approx 50- mins to 1 hour.

The apartment is just by the centre- very comfortable and appreciated the coffee making machine in the morning. The breakfast prepared by Marta was fantastic and there was a warm welcome from all the family (really enjoyed discussing cycling with Stefano too - and thanks for the chocolates- they helped on our journey!). Very attentive and helpful hostess who provided us with good hints on the surrounding area. The small holiday home has been lovingly restored and furnished. Good starting point for hikes on Mount Etna (25 minutes by car). Also great with children, as the dog (very friendly), cats, chickens and vegetable garden at the house. Highly recommended overall.
