The room was modern, spacious and with a balcony.
Even though the property didn't have a luggage service, the owner allowed us to leave the bags in our room well ahead of the checkin time since we arrived to the location early.
The place is close to the city center and about a 10 mins walk from the train station. Walk is a bit hilly and with steps. But it wasn't a big deal for us.
Overall it was a great stay and highly recommended

The room was located in an excellent location.
The room was typical 3 star and was roomy enough. The staff were amazing and always there to help.
Had a lovely experience as the staff were very helpful. The hotel is 3 star so expect that.
The room was cleaned daily. Had a little fridge and plenty of power points. We stayed in Room 1. Had basic bathroom supplies. Towels were amazing and so soft and changed daily.
Bed was queen size but dipped into the middle. Our room was clean and the hotel is in the centre of all the action. Cheap wine and deli supplies just 2 Minutes walk at 5 Terre shop.

Its location is excellent, practically on the main street of the city. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The house is quiet. There is also a shop about 200 meters away. The accommodation is clean and renovated. Equipment: there are two mugs, two wine glasses, a corkscrew. It must be prepared in such a way that there are no cutlery or plates. The host is easy to reach and responds quickly.

The location was ideal, once we worked out the lift system of Riomaggiore. Alessandra and William were attentive and friendly hosts. We arrived much earlier than we had anticipated, but we were still welcomed with a smile. Thank you! The breakfast was mostly prepackaged, but it was very useful. The view was utterly one of Cinqueterre, looking along a narrow gap between the buildings to the opposite vineyard. Somehow, there was still sufficient light to fill the room. The drying pulley outside the window was rather fun to use too.

Great location, right next to the train station. Angela and her husband were great hosts and were really considerate. The room had a lot of amenities plus a free breakfast and a bottle of wine. Overall it was an exceptional stay!

Lovely property, located close to the Main Street with shops and restaurants

The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and helpful!
Hotel La Zorza is centrally located, conveniently close to Riomaggiore Station and the sea. The building dates back to the 15th century and was the home of a local sailor.
The location is great. Directly on the main street.

I stayed for 1 night in Riomaggiore near the marina with amazing sea and mountain views from my room windows.
I enjoyed the sunset view from my room and then roamed around the village in the evening. Found less vegetarian food options in the restaurants. Next morning, I bought beautiful souvenirs in the cute little shop in the village.
Since the sea was a bit rough, boats were cancelled and I travelled by train to La Spezia.

Riomaggiore was our favourite village in Cinque Terre.
Riomaggiore was our favourite village in Cinque Terre. It is basically one big hill with shops, restaurants and a nice harbour to travel by boat to other areas. It's a very quaint village with a charming ambience. Bonus is a laundromat if you are travelling through Italy. Our favourite restaurant is beside the laundromat called La Cantina Del Macellaio. Perfect!

It's better to stay at least 2 nights in Riomaggiore. We are happy to choose this hotel. Although it is quite high on the hill, they have a short cut to the town center and railway station. Nearby restaurants are good.

Beautiful Italian town with great restaurants and access to the rest of Cinque Terre.
It does suffer from over tourism with crowded towns and trains and the national walking trails were closed when we were there.

When we arrived, the key was not in the box outside the door. The host didn't respond! So, we made other arrangements. I couldn't believe it. I've never had a problem with a hotel or booking.com before this.

Very beautiful town a must see, however extemely high hills and steps, if you are not too fit it can be difficult to manage, there are other towns in cinque terre that are flatter and you can visit Riomaggiore for the day. There is basically one main street with shops and food area which are quite costly. As it is a small area it is very full of travellers so it can be a bit difficult to access some eateries and viewing areas.
The apartment is amazing and comfortable. The host had made sure to provide us with all the necessary amenities and the location was perfect to source anything additionally required. The view from the bedroom and living room was mesmerising and the apartment was big. One has to take stairs to get to the apartment but one shouldn’t complain as the best things are available after effort! We lived everything about the place and will return to this place again if we come back to Cinque Terre!
Giovanni was an exceptional host from the get-go. He helped carry up our heavy luggage up four flights of stairs, and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to go in Cinque Terre! The room was generally clean and comfortable, and they left us treats every morning :) The second best part is the rooftop area to chill/drink/eat dinner as you can escape the crowds below, and hang out in peace! Would definitely recommend this place!
We had the best host every, friendly with a lot of advise that helped us to make the best of our 3 days in the Cinque Terre area. She gave us links to great restaurant spots for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. She also equipped us with all the information we needed to make the best of our stay. Train tickets, Ferry tickets and WIFI Codes. Anna Michielini is 5min walk from the train station & easy to find. I would highly recommend a stay here.
Amazing view. One of the easier places to reach from the train station. One of the other reviews said "if this place is available, take it" - that's how I picked it. I totally agree - I can't imagine a better place to stay in the Cinque Terre. We went to the two restaurants that were steps from our hotel. We did take out and watched the sunset from the hotel terrace the other two nights. The view of sunset is perfect from the hotel.
The most magical place! A quiet and peaceful spot away from the busy crowds, with the best views in Cinque Terre. The room was nothing spectacular however clean and replenished with new drinks and coffee pods every morning. Having a meal or a wine on the terrace was a highlight of our trip, it’s so beautiful.
Warning: there are lots of stairs to walk up including the walk from the station, but worth it!
Beautiful location, incredibly kind and helpful staff. It was a pleasure having breakfast served on the balcony each morning, with the helpful staff remembering our coffee order. Room was really comfortable and spacious for two people. I will note that Cinque Terre can be difficult to navigate, as this Hotel is at the top of a hill if you have mobility issues you may struggle to get to and from.
Our stay was great. Carlo was very friendly and responsive. The room was in a great location. It is in an old wine cellar which is very eclectic, although that meant there were no windows. It was perfect for our stay though, an easy walk from the train station and the start of the Cinque Terre trail and all things Riomaggiore. A small room but did exactly what we needed it to do!
We had such a great stay. Martha was so welcoming and kind, she met us near the train station and took us to the property. She was easily contactable via WhatsApp throughout our stay and helped us by making a reservation for dinner on our first night. Very helpful and showed us a map of Cinque Terre and explained the best way to get around. The rooms are very private too.
This is a super cute apartment right in the heart of the action in Riomaggiore. Davide was great with communication and made us feel very welcome in the property. The steps leafing up the property are quite steep but the view over the street is worth it.
The accommodation was clean and well maintained, it was a great place to base ourselves to explore the Cinque Terre
View from the terrace over Riomaggiore was wonderful, and our exceptionally responsive host Loretta really went out of her way to make our stay pleasant (and help restore power when the thunderstorms tripped the circuit not one but twice). Plenty of towels and a welcome bottle of Cinque Terre wine and milk were all nice touches. A public lift was a short walk away.
Location was fantastic, just a short 1 minute walk to the dreamlike view of Riomaggiore! This was one of the best apartments we have stayed in Italy. The AC and water pressure was strong. The door lock was secure as well. Host was precise about the direction and location to the apartment. Able to see the sea from the balcony. Felt like an Italian!
This is the best hotel with the best views and best ever breakfast in Riomaggiore, the very best of the five villages. My daughter and I enjoyed every minute of our 4-night stay. The outdoor spaces and gardens are gorgeous, the family owners are so kind, and the place very is peaceful. You can see the length of the village all the way to the sea.
Loved the hospitality at La Ripa! Wonderfully updated and comfy room. The host had a bottle of wine waiting for us along with a few other welcome goodies. He provided an abundance of information about the area and suggested places to go and explore. I would definitely recommend booking your stay here to explore Cinque Terre!
This was the absolute best place to stay in Cinque Terre, and my cousin and I were so happy with the property! The room was the perfect size, so clean, and in a great location. I am so happy with this stay and when I come back to Cinque Terre I will definitely stay here!
being in Cinque Terre. The door to the balcony fell off hinges. We had a difficult time getting instuctions to get the key, the first set of keys did not work and I had to go back to the "office location to get a different set of keys". Not a positive experience.
This apartment was spacious for my husband and me booked for hiking trip in Cinque Terre. Very clean, perfectly located, and quiet even though it was close to everything. Our host was very accommodating when I asked questions and needed help with luggage storage.
Amazing location, very friendly host, easy check-in, clean place and good value for money! Small arrangement for quick breakfast was nice! 😊 I recommend this place to stay if you are visiting Riomaggiore or Cinque Terre in general.
This is an amazing location and very affordable for what you’re getting. Being in Riomaggiore is the best. The room is small, but functional, and the bathroom is probably the nicest I’ve seen in Italy. Great host as well!
Emiliano and her son Emilio were super helpful in guiding us to all the best places in Cinque Terre, helping with food, travel, tourist and walking suggestions and information. Nice apartment in a good location.
