Well set in the Centrum district of Rotterdam, Hotel Unplugged is located 3.7 km from Diergaarde Blijdorp, 5 km from Erasmus University and 6 km from Plaswijckpark. Check-in is done in hotel Emma nearby, it went smoothly, we were allowed to leave our luggage in the storage at Emma before check-in. Location is great, a lot of food, shops, attractions in walking distance from Unplugged. What we liked the most, was the sitting room on the first floor where we had a bit of evening chill after running around Rotterdam. Also there's a kitchen with complimentary coffee, water, cookies and necessary cutlery. The bed is just like at the picture, really huge. It appeared to be no difference though between King and Queen rooms (we booked 2 for our group and could compare), so not sure why one of them costs more. Our windows looked onto the back yard, so it was quiet in the night. Okay, the funny part was the bathroom)))) with glass walls. Transparent glass walls. Well, perhaps it can add some romance... depends on whether you are OK to watch your partner using a restroom. For us it was an element of surprise, still more fun than a threat to comfort)))

The location was the best as the were a lot of restaurants and events happening in the surroundings. The do your own cocktail was fun.

Located in the Oude Haven (Old Port) Rotterdam, this brand new citizenM Rotterdam is a stylish contemporary hotel, which is right at the city centre with many sights of the city. Everyone working here is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! The location was perfect and they have parking. We didn't get breakfast but the coffee was top notch. When we get back to Rotterdam citizenM will always be my first choice.
