The room was so much cleaner than I expected. It was also affordable.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Amazing location, right in the centre, the restaurants nearby were the best in Australia, sushi, Chinese noodles, pizza, just the best options right outside the hostel. At first glance, the hostel looks like a thai prison, but we really fell in love with the vibe of this hostel, actually loved it. People chilling on picnic benches, pool looked nice, huge chefs kitchen, our room was fine and shared a bathroom with one person. Great stay, very safe and lovely

Great location within easy walking distance of most things. Dorm room was comfortable with several outlets, individual lockers and an en-suite bathroom. No parking but there was some close by. For budget accommodation it's hard to fault.

great location, lovely staff, good facilities e.g kitchen, washing, storage etc. I really liked the vibe at this hostel. It’s too big, and everyone was friendly. Really great location only a few minutes walk from the beach and Main Street in Airlie, with a liquor store just opposite and a Cole’s only a few minutes walk away. Wifi and Air con were also good and working! Easy to store luggage if going on a Whitsundays tour and returning, too.

The best hostel in the area, cosy and far from the party noise , the staff is super friendly and helpful . Everyone has their locker and enough storage room. Facilities are clean and well taken care of , I felt safe and looked after during my stay . And bonus for the lovely cuckatoos living around 👍🏽

Our six bed dormitory had its own en-suite which was a great improvement on the common hostel experience. The room and bathroom was thoroughly cleaned daily. There was a pool available for use. The location of the hostel was excellent — very close to a supermarket and right in amongst the local bars and restaurants. Beach was very short walk away.
