The hostel is in a good location super close to the CBD. It looks super nice and modern. The common areas are really nice including a pool and gym. The staff is super nice and helpful. There’s free breakfast everyday and on Sundays they have free pancakes. Everything is really clean. The bunk beds have curtains for more privacy and an individual light and plug.

great location in fortitude valley. very smart for a hostel. the hostel has its own bar / club with cheap drinks. a free drink was on offer at 8pm which was a good opportunity to meet other travellers. very friendly staff from the front desk to bar to security. despite all this we had no trouble sleeping, no noise issues, etc. although that could be due to the placement of the room we had. my friend and I had a twin ensuite room which was comfortable and clean.

Wow what a hostel! I’ve experienced many hostels in my time but nothing compares to BQ. The design was more like a boutique hotel. The bathrooms were super modern and the bunk beds were spacious, comfortable and private. The free breakfast was a bonus and the staff were super friendly. 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Brisbane on a budget. Thank you for a fantastic stay BQ!
