The YHA Ambleside sits on the shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District. It offers a range of budget accommodation and a café serving local food. ■立地：宿泊施設は湖に隣接した静かな環境にあり、翌朝に散歩や写真撮影で絶景を楽しむことが出来ました。■スタッフ：明るく親切でとても感じが良かったです（ありがとう！）。■駐車場：土曜日に利用し、夜遅くに到着した為、広い駐車場はほぼ満車でした。スタッフの方に相談し、何とか空きスペースにモーターサイクルを駐車することが出来ました。■その他：若い学生が多く、またファミリーでの利用も多く、大変活気があり人気の宿泊施設であることを感じました。

Located in the market town of Keswick in the heart of the Lake District National Park, Denton House Hostel is just a 5-minute stroll from Keswick Leisure Centre. The location was beautiful! It was across the street from the Greta River and right beside the old rail line that is now a walk/run/bike trail. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town and just over 10 minutes to Derwent Lake. My bed was in the annex with the main building with all the kitchen/dining area/common room in the neighbour building about 5 metres away. I loved everything!

The surrounding area is gorgeous, and coming back to a crackling woodfire and a hot water bottle after having been out on a hike is the perfect end to a day spent exploring! The owner was very kind and helpful, and the camping barn had everything I could have asked for (and more!): a hot shower (coin operated, 1 pound gets you 50' of hot water), maps of the area, comfortable beds, a fireplace and some wood already prepared, fully equipped kitchen, and even hot water bottles!
