Basecamp Wales wordt beheerd door een familie en ligt in Llanllyfni, aan de rand van het Nationaal Park Snowdonia en op 30 km van Pen-Y-Pass en op 8,2 km van het strand bij Dinas Dinlle. Really friendly family that owns the place, excellent communal kitchen with loads of space and utensils, big common room with tv/pool table/eating tables etc. Good location with access to loads of walks around Snowdonia.

James John Hamilton House and backpacker hostel ligt in Fishguard, aan de rand van het Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Tenby ligt op 57 km afstand. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in alle ruimtes. I loved the home, the room accommodations, the hospitality and the host!! I was warmly welcomed and had a wonderful stay in this lovely and charming place. My room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and I had everything I needed. I was close to the bus station and a good pub for dinner. The common area was comfortable and well stocked. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. I hope to be back one day!! Thank you, Steve, for everything!!!

Woodlands Centre bevindt zich in Betws-y-Coed, op 20 km van Snowdon, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Centrum van Betsw-y-Coed, op wandelafstand van trein en bus halte. Restaurant en bars allemaal in de buurt. Michele de warden was erg vriendelijk en zeer goed in communicatie met klanten. We waren maar met 2 personen (november) dus het was heel rustig.

The Rocks at Plas Curig Hostel is gelegen in Capel-Curig, op 11 km van Snowdon, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een bar. Kamers, lobby, het riviertje aan de overkant en het restaurant ernaast.

Lodge Dinorwig is gevestigd in een omgebouwd schoolgebouw in Dinorwig, op 8 km van Snowdon. Er is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. We had an awesome stay as a base for out hiking trips. The owner made us feel like home right away and helped us out with good tips on the region.

Totters Hostel ligt in Caernarfon, op 13 km van Snowdon Mountain Railway, en biedt een gedeelde lounge, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi. The owner met us and welcomed us warmly. Our room was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and functioned well. The dining and living areas were well-kept. The basement dining room is really lovely - ancient and rare. Continental breakfast with multiple options. Location was exceptional. Plenty of public street parking and paid parking nearby. We found a free spot to use overnight. If we had needed to pay, it was minimal. I highly recommend this hostel.

Llangollen Hostel Self-catering is a 4-star, Victorian town house in the centre of Llangollen. Prima kamer, uitgebreide keuken, alles netjes.

The Butchers Arms - Grill Pub and Accommodation is gelegen in Merthyr Tydfil, op 45 km van Cardiff University, en biedt versneld in- en uitchecken, rookvrije kamers, een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele... This pub had the best hospitality I've ever experienced. Staff and locals were fantastic. Food was exceptional and beds were the best I've slept in for a long time. Thanks to Andrew and his daughter for the warm welcome

Hamilton Lodge - Cottage sleeps 8 ligt in Fishguard, dicht bij het kustpad Pembrokeshire. Het biedt 3 slaapkamers en een beschutte cottage met een overdekt terras. We were able to set thermostat where we liked. I appreciated this sooo much! The house is amazing with three bathrooms! I loved being in the house it is beautiful and so many helpful details were given to us about wifi and where to go locally etc. Our host was super friendly and helpful with questions! We were able to do washing at the house which was lovely too! I was very happy to be in a house where recycling is taken seriously too. We had a great stay! The host is a seriously lovely person.
