Basecamp Wales är ett familjeägt vandrarhem i Llanllyfni, i utkanten av nationalparken Snowdonia och 30 km från Pen-Y-Pass och 8,2 km från stranden vid Dinas Dinlle. There is a flock of alpacas and sheep in the field, and free feed for kids to give to them. Staff were excellent when we arrived, giving a site tour.

James John Hamilton House and backpacker hostel ligger i Fishguard, i utkanten av Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Tenby ligger 57 km bort. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen. Alla rum har en platt-TV. I loved the home, the room accommodations, the hospitality and the host!! I was warmly welcomed and had a wonderful stay in this lovely and charming place. My room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and I had everything I needed. I was close to the bus station and a good pub for dinner. The common area was comfortable and well stocked. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. I hope to be back one day!! Thank you, Steve, for everything!!!

Michele and Helen are such kind and warm people, they were very helpful with providing suggestions, information, advice, and maps! The location of the property is quite ideal. Use of fully equipped kitchen a definite plus as well.

The Rocks at Plas Curig Hostel ligger i Capel Curig, 11 km från Snowdon, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en bar. We loved it! The staff was so nice and welcoming and the place really clean! It was definitely the cleanest shared bathrooms and a kitchen we've seen in a hostel, and we've seen many. Would stay again!

Situated in a converted school house, Lodge Dinorwig is located in Dinorwig, 8 km from Snowdon. Free private parking is available on site. Friendly staff willing to help with tips about the region. Great breakfast included and for a small extra amount you can have a great dinner.

Totters Hostel ligger i Caernarfon, 13 km från Snowdon Mountain Railway, och har en gemensam lounge, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi. The owner met us and welcomed us warmly. Our room was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and functioned well. The dining and living areas were well-kept. The basement dining room is really lovely - ancient and rare. Continental breakfast with multiple options. Location was exceptional. Plenty of public street parking and paid parking nearby. We found a free spot to use overnight. If we had needed to pay, it was minimal. I highly recommend this hostel.

Llangollen Hostel Self-catering is a 4-star, Victorian town house in the centre of Llangollen. very clean overall. Confortable bed. Good experience

The Butchers Arms - Grill Pub and Accommodation ligger i Merthyr Tydfil, 45 km från Cardiff University, och har snabb in- och utcheckning, rökfria rum, en terrass, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en... This pub had the best hospitality I've ever experienced. Staff and locals were fantastic. Food was exceptional and beds were the best I've slept in for a long time. Thanks to Andrew and his daughter for the warm welcome

Tafarn Yr Heliwr ligger i Nefyn, 35 km från Portmeirion och 43 km från Snowdon Mountain Railway, och har en bar samt rum med gratis WiFi. Anna was so friendly and helpful.

Hamilton Lodge - Cottage har plats för 8 personer och ligger i Fishguard, nära Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Här finns 3 sovrum och en avskild stuga med täckt terrass. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen. The lodge was delightful, cosy and a home from home. Tastefully decorated with lots of unique and quirky features. We had absolutely everything we could possibly need , including linen, towels, coffee machine, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. The garden was so lovely. Location was perfect and near to pubs, restaurants and the sea front. Plenty of space for a family of six and a dog without being on top of each other. The host was excellent and checked we were OK right from booking to when we stayed. The complimentary gifts and treats on arrival were a lovely touch. We look forward to retuning later in the year.
