Located in the centre of Eugendorf, a 15-minute drive from Salzburg, Salzburg Hotel Holznerwirt occupies a historic building dating back to 1390. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building. One of the staff told me that it was more than 300 years old. The room was a good size and everything was supper clean. The room was decorated beautifully and the balcony overlooks into the gorgeous garden. The breakfast was served in the garden, which was really magical, and it had a very good selection of vegetarian food.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation and facilities. Especially good for families with young kids. Indoor and outdoor play areas and fantastic swimming pool. The restaurant was also very good. We extended our stay an extra night because we didn't want to leave!

Featuring a private beach, Hotel Garni Melanie in Wals bei Salzburg has an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room and a spa area with a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and a sun bed. We enjoyed the cleanliness and calming atmosphere of the interiors. The rooms were spacious, beds comfy. The rooms had balconies, which can be a great hangout place, if the weather allows it. Everything was quiet, we barely noticed there were other guests (there were). The staff was very helpful and kind. We loved breakfasts and the room service was also great. We had no problem or felt any obstruction in using the hotel's amenities (a pool, wellness, gym). As a bonus, Kiki the house cat is cute and cuddly. A small lake right in front of the hotel and a stream behind it make interesting points to get you out for a small walk, which we enjoyed. The hotel is close to the highway and our ride to the Salzburg city centre didn't take longer than 30 minutes.

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. The location is amazing. The view from the room is exceptional. The lake is just a few meters from the hotel, you can jump in a then lay back on the shore. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Room was clean and modern.
