In all of the reviews that I have done, I think that this hotel has been the most harshly rated. It is way above low 8’s and, in my opinion, is worthy of 9.5+ as I can not fault in any way (booking.com does not facilitate subtleties in ratings any more). The location could not be more central, the price was great value and all of the staff at reception and breakfast were lovely. The room was pristine and spacious, breakfast was fine and I had a lovely ovely view of the Torre with the sea to the side.

Localizado na bela ilha canária de La Gomera, com vista para a cidade e para a ilha de Tenerife nas proximidades, este belíssimo hotel Parador está situado no topo de uma colina, entre lindos jardins.... This Parador is lovely - situated on the hill overlooking the ocean - view can't be beat. Breakfast was terrific and dinner is highly recommended. Staff are friendly and always trying to be helpful.

Very friendly and attentive staff, has an excellent location in the heart of La Gomera. Beautiful and very well preserved historic historic building, delicious breakfast and pristine facilities. Highly recommended!

Esta mansão convertida oferece quartos encantadores com vista do Vale Hermigua e do Oceano Atlântico. It was paradise! I don't think we picked our room when we booked, but we ended up with a huge room and a massive terrace overlooking a valley. The location was nice — the hotel itself feels remote (we could see the stars well from the terrace at night), but the center of town is a 10-ish-minute walk away and there's a store for essentials as well as a handful of restaurants (we went to two, and both were great). Would recommend!

Breakfast was amazing, too many options, high quality food, great service The pool, though smaller than I'd wish, was lovely, cooling after an hour of sunbathing, heating up through the day Waste bins were clearly labelled but I had no idea what to do with metal containers, there wasn't a bin for them - but the daily cleaning/housemaid service removed any from my room, so there was no problem
