A Regency house overlooking Ullswater, the Macdonald Leeming House has an award-winning restaurant and views of the Cumbrian Fells. It is a 15-minute drive from the M6 motorway. A beautiful lakeside hotel in a beautiful garden setting. Room was spacious and included all the necessities. Ordered dinner from the bar and saved the service fee. Breakfast was included with a good variety of choice.

Patterdale Hotel ligger ved Ullswater Lake og tilbyr hjemmelaget mat, en hageterrasse og salonger med peis. Hotel Patterdale ligger mellom 2 naturskjønne fjellkjeder. It was the perfect location for our hikes and had everything we needed. The food was delicious (we booked the dinners every day and enjoyed the breakfast buffet), especially the options/adjustments for my food allergy (GF).

Offering garden views, Barton Hall Country House is an accommodation located in Pooley Bridge, 30 km from Derwentwater and 37 km from World of Beatrix Potter. Lovely accommodation and staff. Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

Located within UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Lake District National Park, Waterfoot Park provides accommodation with complimentary WiFi is available in some properties. Great location for visiting the Lake District. It's in a quieter, less touristy part of the region, and yet it provides easy access to everything. The suite we stayed in was spacious and comfortable -- very nice!

Located just 21 km from Askham Hall, Old Water View offers accommodation in Patterdale with access to a garden, a bar, as well as private check-in and check-out. Everything! Lovely, friendly hosts, cozy resident lounge with log fire, stunning views, lovely character room with ensuite, great recommendation for dinner (Travellers Rest Inn, an easy, pretty flat walk apart from short incline at the end), fabulous breakfast.....and stayed in Alfred Wainwright's room apparently!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Lowthwaite B&B is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Watermillock, 13 km from Askham Hall. We had a wonderful stay. The whole place is quite romantic and relaxed. Decoration is very good and has a bit of history, that the host will tell you about. The bedroom has a bathroom (with a big bathtub) and another one with just a toilet, a small living room with TV and sofas, and a room with two twin bed, that they kindly displayed together since we were a couple. Toiletries, towels and bathrobes were provided and good quality. Everything was quite clean. The place is very quiet, no noise whatsoever and quite close to Ullswater. The hosts were amazing, giving us plenty of suggestions of what to do around the area, they respect your privacy while being completely available. You have a place to park easily, and the hosts gave accurate directions. Honestly my favourite part was the breakfast which was excellent!! Probably the best breakfast I ever had on a hotel/BB! Everything was very fresh and made with excellent ingredients - you have a time slot and let them know what you want in advance (you have several options) and they will cook in for that time, so everything is fresh and warm. We were very glad we chose this place and would definitely stay again.

Located in Patterdale and only 22 km from Askham Hall, Crookabeck B&B provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very pleasant and accommodating owners. Rooms were great and breakfast was suburb.

Set in the peaceful village of Pooley Bridge, 1863 Restaurant with Rooms is less than 500 metres from the shores of beautiful Lake Ullswater. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and excellent service.

Located in Pooley Bridge in the Cumbria region, Woodhouse Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The lodge was spotless and furnishings were so comfy. The owners have paid great attention to detail and their is everything you could possibly need. The views from the balcony is wonderful. Beautiful touches such as prosecco and fresh flowers on arrival. The hosts are on site due to being a working farm and they are so friendly nothing is to much for them. Only 10 mins walk into poorly bridge.
