Opening in June 2011, the Bonvino Badacsony is Hungary's first wine and wellness hotel, featuring luxurious relaxation facilities and offering fine cuisine and a wide range of quality wines. The breakfast provided a wide variety of selections that accomodated all types of dietary needs or restrictions. The evening dinner was also an impressive array of meals. I have a gluten free diet and there is a prominantly displayed message board detailing any dietary restrictions the prepared meals may have and each meal is described and the restrictions listed.

The property was very silent, modern, well equipped, the technical conditions were outstanding. We were able to come and go as we pleased, the host was friendly. Sziget Vendégház, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Szigliget, 30 km from Sümeg Castle, 44 km from Tihany Abbey, as well as 3.5 km from Szigliget Castle and Museum. We liked basically everything about the accommodation, comfortable beds, very kind and helpful owner, perfect location.

Villa Bella, a property with a garden, is set in Badacsonytomaj, 29 km from Sümeg Castle, 32 km from Thermal Lake Hévíz, as well as 36 km from Tihany Abbey. Nice, clean and cozy place. Breakfast was really good and pizza made in Villa Bella the best that we had ever tried. Our dog feels like at home, and he also got some treats. The hosts were very helpful and they gave us a hint of what to visit around. Bikes are free of charge. We highly recommended visiting this place.
