Lovely place with delicious breakfast (we absolutely loved the salmon) and friendly staff. Also the diner (that must be pre-ordered during the winter season) was great. Rooms are cozy and comfortable.

Located on Snæfellsnes peninsula, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views and free WiFi access. Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. I decided to book this place because there is out of town and finally saw the aurora just open the room door!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very big and good equipped. The dinner was delicious. We ate the cabbage rolls and it was amazing. Staff was very nice, polite and always smiling 🙂 Truly recommend:)

Offering natural hot springs, free Wi-Fi and an in-house restaurant, this farmhouse hotel is in Iceland’s wild Westfjords. Súdavík village is within a 1-hour drive. The accomodation is located in a farm, basically in the middle of nowhere, but it's totally worth taking the long journey in the Westfjords to get to this place. It has a very unique feeling, you are in the nature. I arrived very late, around midnight, but communication with the hotel staff and then self check in was very easy. After arrival I jumped into the hot pool (which is available 24/7), they have both outdoor and indoor pools (in an amazing palm house). Breakfast was divine with a lot of local produce, it's definitely worth the additional 2000 ISK that I had to pay for that. It's a place where I definitely have to return one day.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. The place is so beautiful decorated and the staff is very friendly and professional. We highly recommend hotel Egilsen

Set on Flatey Island in the Breidafjördur Bay, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Baldur Ferry Terminal that departs from Stykkishólmur. Everything makes sense here. The island is absolutely beautiful and peaceful and so was the hotel. The staff is super kind and helpful and the food is really good. Favorite place after a long road trip accros Iceland. We would love to come back one day.

Hotel Varmaland features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Varmaland. The hotel also provides free WiFi and free private parking. The location is one of my favourite, very cozy atmosphere in the hotel, very nice design. We got a cozy, very clean room with amazing view. The bed was really really comfortable and we were happy with the tea and coffee offer in the room as well. The design overall the building is very pleasant.

One of the better hotels we encountered in iceland that had a great value for money. Great location, kind staff and very good breakfast. Nice views from the room.
