It was our first time in Porto Seguro and we really loved our stay at Casa Caja! We chose this place because of the very good reviews and were not disappointed. It’s a very nice, well maintained and clean place that makes you feel like at home. Hosts and staff were really welcoming, friendly and always with a smile. We also got great advice for day trips, food and travel in general. The room itself was spacious and had all the amenities you need. There was a really good (continental) breakfast in the morning as well as an afternoon tea with great cakes, coffee etc. All in all we could not have stayed at a better place and for sure will return the next time we are in the area.

The overall vibe of the hostel is very sociable. The hostel has common areas - all well decorated and well furnished - that make socializing easy, including a kitchen, lounge, outdoor furniture, and a pool. The staff also contribute to the friendly social vibe, epecially Alexandre who was a great conversationalist. At the same time, the staff also keep the hostel clean, organized and safe. I appreciated all the efforts made to keep the hostel clean. I also appreciated Luciano's professionalism and management.

We had the pleasure of staying at Orla Copacabana for 9 days. The hotel was well located and the facilities were nice. The staff were all kind and helpful. Our ocean view room was great, very clean and well maintained during the stay by housekeeping. The breakfast was very good.

Superb welcoming. Very accommodating. The volunteers are wonderful, Talita, Luc, Lucia, Maca and Anna were very friendly, Mark was a perfect host, and of course Cuticula is the star of the hostel. Be back very sooon <3

When I booked I had requested a accessible room because my mother is 86 years old, with limitations and Alzheimer. You did not have a room like this. They gave us a room with a double bed and with a bathroom with no acessibility and with a step that even I almost felt. After I complained again and did not accept that room, they talked to the manager who found out a accessible room. The sheets were torn, there were insects in the bathroom (lots of small mosquitos) the first day no one went to clean the room, change the sheets for decent ones and kills the mosquitos. Second day after complained, a lady cleaned the room, kept the same sheets and did not kill the Miskitos. A shame, disgusting, a crime, once pest control is an obligation by law. I’m now with DENGUE probably because of it. I just did not change hotels because I had lots of compromises and did not have time. Breakfast also with old fruits, the sandwich machine full of burned cheese and no one washed even fro one day to another. Groce, disgusting. Never ever I will go back and I will report to health surveillance, the crime. I had photos and video wich I showed to reception girls and the only think I got was “I’m sorry”.
