There is a big mosque nearby and the calling to prayer early in the morning can break one's sleep.

Very good location next to the lively Malioboro Avenue. Staff is friendly and helpful, they helped us get in touch with drivers for several activities.

(1) With hindsight, I think a better location would be the Prawirotaman area, where the cool restaurants are. (2) not a complaint, but be aware that the staff are unable to help on anything that is not hotel related. For example, we needed to book train tickets (very cumbersome process in Indonesia), and they were not able to give any advice - not even a basic one.

The hotel is in the centre of Yogyakarta, so everything is within reach with a 10-15 minutes taxi ride. Rooms are functional, clean. Staff are nice, although they offer limited support for anything non-hotel related (taxis, trains, etc.)

The laundry costs were outrageous, it cost me $11 AUD to have 8 pairs of underwear cleaned. Didn’t provide much bathroom linen.

Friendly staff, clean, promptly fixed our fridge when broken. Great location within walking distance of markets. Good suggestions for food etc from staff.

Breakfast area can get a bit busy. There is a mosque right next to the hotel so you will hear the praying early in the morning, not suitable for those light of sleep probably.

Staff is really helpful. Room had natural light and was of good size, same with the bathroom. I left one day early to visit the temples and they arranged a takeaway breakfast package at 6 am. Top service.

since it’s next to a busy street, you can hear the sounds of traffic & a person singing karaoke for some reason (lol). But after 6PM it usually starts to mellow down.

Location is near the main tourist areas, offers alcoholic drinks at a reasonable price (when we couldn’t find anywhere, Wifi is fast, Staffs are amazing, kind, & knows the area (which is important), breakfast is so yum.

There was constant noise during the night from sone appliance outside of the room Giving that I was leaving early in the morning, I asked for a breakfast box- the facility provided two slices of bread, unpeeled egg, some jam in a plastic box and a few cookies. The whole point was to take while on the way, and I found myself peeling an egg inside of a train.

Although we asked for a baby cot in advance (given the option to via booking to request) and the response was based on availability, when we got there the hotel told us they don't have any baby cots, so we had to rent one for 150k for a week externally (they arranged it for us). The view of the room was wall view, not city view.

The dinner restaurant was quite nice. They found an external solution for a baby cot we had requested, at a low price. The bear couch near the entrance was a nice place for the baby. The bed mattress was very good for my back pain. The staff was helpful and friendly, they did their best.

Check-in was pass 2p, due to some issue with the key cards. One of the days I headed out late and asked for my room cleaning to be done but when I got back it still wasn't done. Sheets had stains.

The staff was very helpful with any queries that I had. The location is excellent. 1.5-2km walk and you reach the middle point of seeing most tourist points. They allowed me to check out late by 30 mins.
