Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. It is a Japanese style inn with retro vibes. Their private onsen's water comes from the very hot spring source of Kusatsu and therefore you can experience the hot spring water without going to the public baths if you are shy. We mostly used them at night when the town's baths are closed since the inn's are 24/7 open. I would recommend to book a japanese style room as it has it's tatami and according decoration and together with the inn's yukata (there is an opt for a colorful one and geta to rent) it gives a more japanese experience. We liked that the inn had slippers for going outside which was convenient as the whole town is full with onsens (even ones that are only for feet) and therefore is more convenient to move in slippers. They have a game area with a lot of retro game (even arcade games) and Nintendo SFC System Video Game Console in the rooms. It may not be in the centre of the town (around 10 min walk for either yubatake or Sainokawara Park and open onsen) but is very close to it and also they offer pick up/drop off from the bus terminal. Staff were very friendly and helped with everything we needed. In our next visit to Kusatsu we are definitely staying there!

Food was delicious (I would highly recommend taking half-pension) and service was exceptional. I found the onsen very relaxing, it is a very warm outdoor bath with cloudy volcanic water that opens on a beautiful bamboo garden. There's also an indoor bath. They offer private onsens but the public one was empty when I got there. Room was very comfortable and they provide everything you need

The staff was amazing and super accommodating. The private onsen was a great experience and really nice that your room gets an hour per day.

Weniger als 48 km von Fuji-Q Highland und 1,2 km von Bahnhof Kowakidani entfernt in Hakone gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan Zimmer in Hakone. Hier schläft und wohnt man wie man es sich in Japan vorstellt. Unser Zimmer war komplett mit Tatami Matten ausgelegt und es hatte sehr bequeme Futonbetten und eine kleine separate Sitzecke. Alles sehr liebevoll und stimmig. Das Inseln ist für Männer und Frauen getrennt und war sehr angenehm und sauber. Ein absolutes Erlebnis! Auch die Lage war sehr gut. Die Bus- und auch die Bahnhaltestelle sind nah und fußläufig erreichbar sodass man einfach und schnell durch den Hakone Nationalpark navigieren konnte. Der Herr des Hauses war unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit und hat gute Tipps gegeben, was man sich vor Ort ansehen kann und wo man gut essen kann. Wir haben Uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Immaculately cared for with the kindest staff I have ever encountered. You immediately feel at home and taken care of with small touches like skincare in the bathrooms, to big things like the private roof onsen available for free reservation. Fabulous breakfast and we were on our honeymoon so they surprised us with a decorated dessert and Polaroid photo of us!! Over the top kindness that makes me recommend this hotel to everyone and can’t imagine visiting Japan again without staying here.
