The breakfast was incredible - smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. My wife had the traditional breakfast which was also very tasty - I loved the sausages. The hospitality was amazing and Hannah, the hostess was so pleasant and also told us where the oldest pub in town was so we could have a quick pint. Just amazing!

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.
Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit. Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park. We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Bernadette and her husband were extremely welcoming and gave us a lot of information and tips about getting around Ireland and Kenmare. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable! It’s full of little details that make all the difference. It is also only a quick walk into the town centre. Our hosts were very accommodating of our dietary requirements and went above and beyond to provide a delicious vegan breakfast which was served in a beautiful conservatory. The location is quiet at night despite it being next to the main road in and out of Kenmare. Our host recommended a few dining and drinking places to check out in town that turned out to be perfect.
